I'm still waiting on mine to ship! First I preordered the black and white ones. Later they came out with the red one and I ordered that one. So, I'd most likely give the white and black one to my brothers for Christmas and keep the red one.

I like the looks though I'd prefer to have seen a version with analogue sticks (a vertical version of the TSP). Oh and the screen is a tiny bit too small for my eyesight.

Am I weird for wishing this thing was actually bigger? I initially expected it to be similar in size to something like the Analogue Pocket. Still a slick little device nonetheless. But honestly...the Miyoo Mini Plus is good enough for me.

I’ve ordered mine but hasn’t arrived yet so haven’t felt it in my hand, but yeah while I appreciate in theory the larger chin on it should make it more comfortable, a version of this closer to the original Gameboy or the Modretro Chromatic with an even larger battery would be PERFECT

I love my Miyoo mini but I've always wanted a better built more powerful Miyoo. I'll miss being able to keep it in my shirt pocket. But being able to play Stardew and other Ports on something this small is so freaking cool.

Never putting on the screen protector in these handhelds tbh. I mostly have a case, and if I were to drop it, screen protector or not, it probably would be dead anyway.

I previously bought the Trimui Smart Pro and the clock was wonky, it was hard to set the region, and it refused to stick to the time I set it (would keep auto-jumping ahead by 6h). And the clock would stop when i power off the device and only resume from where it left off when I power back on. Do you notice this issue with the Trimui Brick?

RG35XX has been my daily carry for nearly 2 years now. I think this might finally take its place. I love the design, and the flat back panel will make it more comfortable in my pants pocket.

Looks really clean. A bit small for me. The customizable buttons is interesting, should make it fit more people. The RGB bar on the top and rear buttons doesn't make much sense though.

My L1 shoulder button, and my R1 to a lesser extent, are incredibly difficult to consistently press. It's a tossup whether it's the metal plate not being cut accurately, the clear plastic is cut too thick and is getting caught in the metal plate, or the switch itself is just cheap and faulty. Outside of that, it's a solidly built device. I even like how easy it was to open up and troubleshoot the issue. However, due to a primary button being faulty, I still think the Miyoo and Anbernic devices are superior. The metal plate is going to slowly scrub away at the clear plastic under the shoulder caps, and that may improve it over time, but I think the issue is probably the cheap switch. I ordered a red and indigo model as well from Powkiddy, so maybe one of those will be a more complete handheld. I'm assuming it's just a QC issue like all of these handhelds suffer from occasionally, and not gonna knock the device too bad. It's still a solid device.

I really wanted something like this with membranes rather than dome switches for a more retro feel, but aside from that this is perfect for me and was an insta-buy, especially during the recent AliExpress sales

I’m really interested in this one. I just have the RP4 Pro now and would like something a bit more pocketable. All of the other mini handhelds had a few more compromises than i wanted to make but this one looks really promising. If the reviews look as good as the first impressions I’ve seen i may have to pull the trigger on one. If it didn’t have the RGB lighting I’d get the indigo one, but i really love the way the lights look in contrast to the black model.

The cable has no affect. It will definitely charge with a USB C to USB C cable from a 5V USB C brick. It may or may not charge from PD bricks, which can be either USB A or USB C

Ok, so Adin Walls has apparently tested this and it charges with a C to C cable, plugged into a PD charger.

Ilike my Trim ui Pro a lot I also have the Trim Ui there products to me are a little nicer quality feel than my Miyoo Mini for sure and the Miyoo + I'm not going to jump right on the Brick but I will own one at some point.

@@michaelbenny659 set up a dedicated 2.4ghz band and it should work perfectly. A lot of cheaper work chipsets don't work with 5ghz. And some routers are dumb and try to force a connection to a unsupported frequency.

Sonic mania was showing in 16 x 9 that’s why It didn’t fit on the screen. Even when you were actually showing gameplay, it was still wrong. Not sure how you would fix the aspect ratio of that.
