Eli has gaslighter tendencies. Without trust what do you have? He has given her so many reasons not to trust him. Emotional affairs can be just as damaging to a relationship. I said emotional, cause they said he didn't have "Physical" contact. But the damage is done. The trust she originally had for him is likely gone, and he only has himself to blame. That is why clear communication should be given to your spouse. If he was feeling bored about intimacy, he could have expressed that to his wife and they could have found a way i am sure to work on it. Instead of him entertaining another woman through DM's & phone/ video s3x, he chose to give in to temptation more than once. Although he should be able to put on pj's if he was cold, he could have possibly changed the room temp, pull his wife closer to help him warm up by snuggling, or buy a heated mattress pad cover. I have the heated mattress pad cover, get one and thank me later. If she forgives him, he ought to thank his lucky stars cause once trust is gone it is hard to get back.
