Also it would cost as much as a new pair almost. So that the reason why people mostly do full repairs on quality boots and not cheap ones

Any good cobbler will be able to upgrade your shoe better than factory, so it's a no-brainer. And you can customize sole colors, types, etc.
@obscurazone2 жыл бұрын
@@And-zo8jn I would get quality boots repaired every single time over new replacements. Boots that are worn in fit you like a glove, and have a beautiful patina. New boots/shoes take years to properly break in and become "yours". Plus, why replace them anyway when they can be serviced and last many more years!

Thanks for including the price of £160 for a full restoration. Cobbler concierge glued a thin elvis sole on my worn out timberlands for US$120. It fell off within an hour and cobbler concierge blocked my calls, I was out $120 plus possible shipping from Hawaii back to New York City. Their long turnaround timeframe prevented me from getting a credit card charge back. Swindled

Probably the cheapest way to be honest. I'm all for make do and mend, but when a repair costs twice the price of a new pair, is it really the best option? Unless you have an emotional attachment to them, it's not really the best idea to pay over £100 for a repair when a new pair can be got for around £65 if you look around.
