Hey dan, I've been wondering how loud toe plates are? I've seen you put them on in a few videos but never heard the sound they make. I want to put them in because I tear the toe part quickly however I'm scared that they might make too much noise.

If your going to buy the shoe trees, spare the expense for the cedar. I bought two piars of trees for my Boost 350's (cloth), but they are always dry and smell wonderful. Shoes cost too much to not treat them with the best care you can afford. Thanks for the post Dan, great as always pal!

You tied the first knot in the popular fashion, but wrong. Reverse the direction of going around the loop and it is much more resistant to coming undone.

Well it's all been said already. Great workmanship and a great service to our environment as opposed to slinging for new. Just don't understand how economically viable it is to keep this up. Obviously the tradesmen needs his due payment, and then to buy the materials, run/ maintain the machinery as well as rent/ business rates. How's it even done?

Looks great and you are truly a master. The flap for the hidden stitch doesn’t look like it will stand up to much - do the flaps ever come apart/does the glue fail?
