That boot isn't ladder laced, it's straight bar laced. Straight bar lacing is normally used to create more room in the boot for wider feet or higher arches. A ladder lace weaves the laces together and isn't hidden. It requires long laces and creates a very sturdy fit. It was used in the military.

If you want him to quit parking in your spot take some nails and lean them up against the tires in the back so when he pulls off the nails stick to his tires😂

Dan, you are really giving me a education. I never had a clue what was involved in shoe repair and customizing. It’s so sad that we live in a disposable world. I truly enjoy watching an artisan at work. Great video. Oh, sorry for your loss, condolences. Stay safe.

Happy wedding anniversary to your grandpa! A bit late to the party, but a few months are nothing compared to 60 years of marriage, right? 😂 Best regards from Austria!

I don't know about John wick but Jeremiah was a bullfrog that you sing. Means he talked a lot arrogant boasting.. That's why he was like I didn't understand a word he said but I helped him drink his wine probably to drown out all the talking lol😂

Hi. I’ve a pair of timberland boots which are a similar colour to your red wings. I’ve been using the Saphir Renovateur cream on them. Do you think I’d be better using the mink oil? TIA 😊

Is it possible to use a clear sole? Then it wouldn't be practically useless.

This is so crazy. I am watching this a year after it was posted and it's snowing today as well. Fun fact because you were drinking one in the video. Budweiser is made in St Louis Missouri and I am from Columbia MO, only 2 hours drive from St Louis. Fun little tidbit.

i have an almost identical problem, without midsole needed. Problem is everywhere i have treid want 70 quid to do it, so i just bought a new pair in the sales. 70 quid for a sole replacement seems expensive to me, is this realistic?
@NielsonJanne16 сағат бұрын
He said (2 years) ago that this job was 120 quid, and should have been 160 quid. Maybe without a mid sole the job is 70 quid. But maybe, with all inflation going on, 70 quid is unrealistic? (I'm not a professional)
@snowyrichmond544516 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the reply 😊, yeah that's extreme, 70 quid given inflation sounds reasonable now 😂😂
