Cooking with fire sure puts a microwave to shame. And all real, natural ingredients too, that's the beauty of good food. And all those colours too! Nothing bland about it. In a few weeks time I'll be off to sunnier climes and these videos are building up my anticipation - it's been a LONG year. Here in England, except for this current bizarre heatwave we are enjoying/enduring, we live INDOORS at all times, yet in these videos its always outdoors - it really is the way to live.

Yes agreed. Being English I'm more used to Indian methods of cooking, so I find the Trini style as new and exciting as I did Indian cookery forty years ago. I love Goan food too!

I'm not fretting, just giving a bit of info between the Dasheen n Eddoes, Dasheen is otherwise tarot root use as a staple,the leaves is also use as a vege leaves in many other dishes mainly, one of Trinidad's main dish callaloo...eddoes is also is a ground root use as a staple mostly use in soups, it cooks soft with a bit of sticky texture that I like, nice river lime n video.

There will always be criminals Erick. There is a tendency in the media to blow these things out of proportion. I saw thousands of good Trinis working hard and making a difference, but there is very little press or media coverage of that because it isn't about conflict and division.
