Thinking of planning a trip to London? There’s one area you really can’t miss - Trinny’s neighbourhood, Notting Hill. This area has long been famous for Portobello Road market, Notting Hill carnival, and of course, the Richard Curtis romcom of the same name. But today, Trinny is showing us her personal favourite places, from cafés and restaurants to vintage shops and beyond. Love love love this!! Thank you Trinny! My family and I lived near Notting Hill in the early 2000s and this brought back such beautiful memories. I had a baby daughter at the time too and loved that Petit Bateau and Bonpoint. Almost brought a tear to my eye as we just celebrated that baby’s 20th!

I will definitely go to Notting Hill next time I go to London. Our last trip, June 2022 we stayed in Camden. My then 7 year old daughter loved all the colourful characters walking around 😂❤

Just did this tour with Hubby today, it was a lovely day. Brought a candle from Diptyque & some chocolate from melt. Highly recommend all of the above. The sights were fantastic & great to see a really nice part of London. Thank you Trinny x

She lived just a block away from Nottinghill and took me to the Nottinghill weekend market. I bought some earrings which i still have today. And that was 13 years ago! When I used to live in Notting Hill many decades ago late 80s, there were not fancy restaurants, I do remember the Gold Pub the food was greasy old fish and cheaps, and the spirit was different. I still have so many small bags and some vintage pieces that I used to buy on the stalls.

Thanks for the tour, Trinny! I love seeing Notting Hill after all these years. I lived there in 1987 - was quite different at the time. We used to leave for our holidays during the Notting Hill Carnival because the amps would be right out our window on Ladbroke Grove and there was no sleeping that week. :) Glad to see the Portobello road is still somewhat the same. I'm actually a native New Yorker. I think you were giving a nod to the Magnolia Bakery on Bleeker Street in the West Village, NY. (red velvet cupcakes?).
