I've seen lots of comments over the last few months pleading with Trinny to make her videos in a wide film ratio format instead. Here's my diatribe for why I appreciate the 'raw' phone footage instead lol: I figure Trinny is generously filming these for us in the middle of her (still busy) off-time, so using her phone is likely much quicker than setting up an entire home studio. If she filmed in wide mode, we wouldn't get the same 'casual' Trinny energy that we get now - you wouldn't be able to see her jump around between different parts of her closet 'room' (it's not even a walk-in closet at this point, more like a walk-around one lol) without losing detail. I feel like that's when she's at her best - prancing around trying things when the inspiration strikes, rather than sitting down for an overly produced short film. That style works for other KZbinrs (whom you're welcome to watch, of course) but I don't think it fits Trinny's personality. Given how busy Trinny is with her business, I'm grateful she spends her time sharing her knowledge for *free* every week in this way (you know others are paywalling these sorts of tips behind a MasterClass course or members-only newsletter or whatever, right?) She's not *primarily* an influencer/ content creator, so I don't think she's directly making money from these videos - I don't even get ads in them, but I've probably jinxed it now lol. Anyway, my point is that I'm happy to see Trinny share her unbridled creativity in this format with us *for free* on a weekly basis! (Yes, I'm going to keep emphasising that point because paying a whole production crew to edit these videos in a wider format (beyond just splicing out the bloopers) takes time & money - which would likely take away from her actual money-making endeavours!) So I'm going to be a spanner in the works & state that I *do* appreciate the vertical phone mode because I'm also watching these on my phone whilst doing something else (blame the need for overstimulation lol). But even if it's in wide mode, I could *still* watch it on my phone with black bars around it - just like you're still able to watch basically a *free* episode of this 'Trinny show' on your TV with black bars around it. Let's not undermine the work that goes into creative works, just because (or especially because) they're free! Signed, ~ Your friendly neighbourhood spanner lol🔧

Just wanted to add that you can buy a top tote/ hat magnet to clip that hat (at the end) around your suitcase handle! I find it super easy and it doesn't interfere with the X-ray machines at airport security either.

You could take that very large hat by putting it at the bottom of hand luggage and packing round it and in it to pad it out … I think it would then travel pretty well 😊.
