Allegro con brio 25:00 Sadly, the pianist on this recording is no longer with us. I hope that the one-year-old daughter he left behind will one day be able to hear this recording and also know the lovely things that his students and colleagues said about him.

Very nicely played, ensemble is superb! Very clear recording: I can hear every note in the very difficult piano score- very cleanly played! The last movement is very fast and very exciting - very well executed by all players! This is my favorite chamber work by Brahms.
