Good day sir. I am so glad that you all went to Utah. I am so glad that you went through my home state of Colorado. Thank you for going down I-70/US6. As a boy I climbed the walls of Glenwood canyon. That was in the early 70's. Thank you again. Fantastic video.

You want to watch that last pass dropping down into Green River. I've seen several trucks with smoke pouring out of the trailer brakes. I've been driving a big truck for over 32 years OTR, I'm very familiar with the entire route😆 BTW, as long as those chains & straps don't rub, you can cross them. I've had to do it many times & never had an issue. Congrats on that new lift you're getting, you'll love that! 😆

You did well at the wrecker games for what you have to work with. From the outside anyway your truck looks almost stock. A low budget build unlike some of your competition. I'm glad you made the long trip to help entertain us and the thousands of fans that were there in person. Hope you didn't hurt your truck much, nothing like an old square body. Since I live in the rust belt they are getting to be fewer and fewer of them every year. The last one I had was about 10 years ago. It was just a half ton, long bed with the 4.3 and a 2WD. I was mostly a van guy instead of pickups. I have had vans since 1974 and still have an 85 (chevy of course) 1 ton that I pull the car trailer with.

Glad you made it home. I remember that drive between Denver and Rifle Co. Had made it several times, but last year went over it heading to Rifle at the end of March. First time going over the mountain pulling a 42' 5th Wheel. Believe me it was puckering experience to say the least. Awesome job at the wreker games and again, glad you all made it home safely!

One of these days when you are driving near Georgetown Colorado, just the the Eisenhower tunnel entrance, you should stop by in Georgetown and ride the Georgetown Loop. The loop was an engineering marvel that helped the train climb up a grade that was much more manageable to climb on the route the train needed to originally haul ore.

I have done the Eisenhower tunnel many times in winter and summer on bikes and cars and trucks. I now live in Thailand and I miss this drive, this video makes me homesick.

We're still not home. Spent time enjoying those Utah NP. Then we broke down in Moab. Ironically, Moab Motorsports put us together enough to make it to get parts and find a diesel mechanic. Headed East to Illinois now. We had a ball meeting all ya'll. Can't wait till next time!

Next tym you come to Sands. You should try going thru Denver. Head south on I-25. Get off at Walsenburg. Head to Alamosa, Durango, Farmington, Shiprock, Kayenta, Page(AZ), than onto Sands. A scenic and warm route.

I have lived in Denver all my life. I have been all over the US and have not found another road that tests a truck more than the drive over those tunnels. But that is way better than Loveland Pass the old road, before the tunnels.

Cross chaining loads is standard for military use, check out any heavy military load/ MBT's etc- all cross chained. I've seen tank transporters on their side, and the two APC's being carried, were still firmly attached.
