Alaska's new interior features some of the most comfortable standard reclining First Class seats I've sat in. They combined blends of both Virgin America and old Alaska Airlines elements and created a pretty sleek and modern cabin.
The 737-700 isn't very easy to fly on in Alaska's fleet unless you're traveling to or in Alaska. After all, they only have 11 of them, and its reduced capacity is perfect for small Alaskan towns.
I had a great onboard experience. The flight was a moderate 3 1/2 hour hop up to Anchorage. I was visiting Alaska for the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. It is an annual long-distance sled dog race run in early March from Anchorage, AK to Nome, AK. Mushers and a team of 14 dogs, of which at least 5 must be on the towline at the finish line, cover the distance in 8-15 days or more. If you'd like to see my upcoming short film on clips I filmed from the race, make sure to subscribe to my second channel: / @quintinsoloviev

Nice aerial shots QFS! For anyone going on this same route, reserve the window seat on the right side of the airplane like QFS did for the best views of the Alaska coastline. On a clear day, the views are spectacular. Alaska Airlines - my personal 'Favorite' domestic Airline.

Nothing like flying on a "one owner" aircraft !! Bit like buying a used car !! Some great views mate...who needs an I Pad (unless cloudy of course !!) I would avoid the food as well...after what happened !! When this global mess is over ( god knows when I have Alaska high on my list for a visit !! But am not holding my breath !!) Apparently Anchorage is now the busiest airport in the world due to the pandemic due to it's geographical position etc... especially for Cargo flights !! Thanks as always Q...really enjoy your videos !! Well done and stay safe and well !!

Was the N Gates Alaska Lounge closed at this point? I'm not sure if you've been to that one yet, but it's many times better than both the one in C and D, and one of the best of any of the domestic carriers IMO. Either way, another great video as usual. 🙂

I will fly first class with Alaska Airlines next time as first class ticket holders are not allowed in the lounge at United , Delta & AA . It sucks as you pays double the fare and get no service and recognition So the executive at United , Delta & AA take note you are going to lose a lot if not all paying First Class customer to Alaska Airline if you don't change your stupid rule . Any other airlines in the world treat their premium paying customer than you lot put together
