On August 16, I flew Croatia Airlines from Dubrovnik, Croatia to Munich, Germany on an A319. Croatia Airlines is the state-owned flag carrier airline of Croatia. Their main hub is Zagreb, with focus cities being Dubrovnik, Split, and Zadar.

The new Lufthansa livery is a slight improvement but removing the iconic yellow from the tail leaves it looking flat and indistinguishable from many other airlines.

I was in Frankfort Main airport b4 9/11. The soldiers carrying around uzis & M16's was alerting but it was cool. Felt really safe.

Since the Paris attacks it has become relatively normal. Btw they Arent soldiers ist the federal Police "Bundespolizei" equivalent to CBP. However it also depends on the Airport. Brussels for example has become very rigid with their checks in the aftermath of the attacks including an external security check before even entering the Building, but this has calmed down now.

There seems to be a gap in trip reports--I don't see any Brussels-Dubrovnik footage--the Dalmation coast looks gorgeous,especially so in summer.Your chocolate wafer thingy for 3 euros,what is that in USD? The salty herb crackers reminded me of croutons for a salad! Were you traveling alone or was that your brother in the middle seat--noticed as you were readying for getting off the plane,your seatmate pointed to your overhead roll on bag--Will we see any Air Dolomiti flights soon?

I honestly prefer the old livery of lufthansa because its more recognizable amongst others. With that silver tone it leaves more of a modernish look, but the old livery of lufthansa is more distinguishable.
