TRIP REPORT | Delta Airlines - 757 200 - New York (JFK) to Seattle (SEA) | First Class

Welcome to another trip report! On May 10, I flew on an Ex-Northwest Airlines 757 from New York to Seattle.
The flight was over an hour delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight. I was pretty impressed with the seat, as it reclined very far. The meal was very good, and the F/As were very respectful, unlike those people in 5C & 5D.

As another young guy who flies first class, I also get weird looks from people, like they can’t believe someone under 40 can afford first class. I work hard to be able to afford it, I only fly once or twice a year, and I save. It’s a nice luxury that I give myself, and I really wish people would respect that.

I always just tell people “no, sorry”. I choose the seats I want for a reason. Next time those people want to sit together, the should coordinate and make their bookings earlier. I do NOT feel guilty about it one bit.

Quintin I just got to say thanks for the report and the smooth footage. A lot of people don’t understand how awkward it is to film on an airplane, and even more awkward the better the footage is. Keep it up and the end product is always worth it

Just flew Delta 757-200 in First Class on May 30. Seat was 3D. Went from West Palm Beach to Atlanta and changed planes in Atlanta go get to LAX. The aircraft from ATL-LAX was a 777-200 with the Delta One configuration in First Class. It was a nice experience.

I hate when people ask you to change seats, ESP in FC too. And they were legit trying to intimidate you too! Gotta love spoiled, entitled people. They were probably like, "How come he can afford First Class, and we can only get upgraded!?" (whining like the babies they are)

22:07 Fun fact: All four major sports franchises based in Boston / Massachusetts have aircraft painted in their colors and logos. The Celics, Red Sox and Bruins all have Jetblue A320's painted in their colors and the Patriots own their own 767-300 that is based at PVD. Amazing livery. Has all six Lombardi Trophies painted on the tail.

I was flying SBA - SFO - SEA on UAL in First Class, December 2001. The inbound SBA - SFO plane went tech. I got in line to reschedule. The friendly gate agent handed me my ticket. He'd downgraded me to Economy without my knowledge. I handed the ticket back to him and told him to try again. This is just a word to the wise: ALWAYS ALWAYS look at ANYTHING a gate agent reschedules for you.

You are lucky as hell...I’ve been trying to get first class on delta but the best I can afford is a 70 minute hop in their MD-90. I’m considering doing it just for the YT channel but I’m not sure. So lucky dude!

I flew a Delta 757 in February but since it was a short 1h30 hop I didnt go to the restroom. I will fly another 757 for the same flight time at the end of August so I will see.

Quintin. Next time just say NO. You are under NO OBLIGATION to switch and it’s not your problem. It’s their problem. I don’t know about you, but I will book right or left side purposely. It’s not random. When people ask me to move, I just tell them “No, sorry”.

I've driven that way on the Belt Parkway from Long Island too, but I went to the Brooklyn Animal Care and Control animal shelter to rescue dogs. I flew Delta from LaGuardia airport to Spokane, WA. to pick up my Rottie puppy and they were great to us.

I hate it when people ask me to give up a seat. I had to give up an window seat so that a family could sit to together. I had to sit in an aisle seat which I was angry about. If someone asks to give up my seat I’m gonna say no.

Nice plane especially for its age. Love new cabin and sky interior. Love the 757! You booked seat 5A? They were sitting 5B and 5C but wanted 5A and 5B but ended up changed to 5C and 5D? Lol 16:48. Think you already did a Trip Report to Montego Bay, Jamaica once but would be really nice to see you try a main airline here from the US or possibly even Air Canada Dreamliner during the Winter Tourist Season.

The 757 is my favorite Boeing aircraft! I love the long slender design of the fuselage and the front windshield looks cool too, very distinctive from any other Boeing model. It’s no wonder why president trump choose it as his private jet, they are great and reliable planes and have the best record of any Boeing aircraft.

Nice trip report! Back to those people... I have a similar story. I was flying with my sister on American from AUS-LAX, On a E-175. There was this one person who was around 25, and she wanted to sit with her boyfriend. Me and my sister were still young, (at the time I was 11 and she was 14) and when I boarded the plane, the woman was sitting in my seat. Me and my sister wanted to sit together since we were alone. She said that she wanted to sit in our row and wanted to trade seats with us because she wanted to sit with her boyfriend. She told us her and her boyfriends seat numbers. One was a bulkhead seat, and one was in the last row. Literally across the plane. I asked her to move because I wanted to sit with my sister and she started crying. She told the flight attendant that I was “bullying” her. Keep in mind I was 11. After she argued with the FA for about 5 minutes, she was told to sit in her seat and be quiet or she would be kicked off of the flight. I mean, if you want to sit with somebody, book a seat with them instead of bothering a bunch of people on a plane. C’mon people.
