Again great coverage! Runway 27 was one of the main runways for Schiphol for a long time despite dense population over Amstelveen on final approach! In opposite direction, runway 09 was the tragic departure of the ELAL flight yhat crashed into the Bijlmermeer in the eighties!

Great report! What a great view over what seemed to be a shallow temperature inversion over Dubai during departure. It’s awesome to see the skyscrapers actually peaking out above it! (Well, the Burj Khalifa of course)

It’s becoming the best time of the year to fly in Dubai. Specially in November as there will be massive fog banks in the morning, so when you take off you might get a priceless view of fog covered Dubai with some skyscrapers poking out. Let’s see if I get lucky! Thanks for watchint!

About the logo, very few airlines do this but it is actually very clever what they’ve done. Because when sitting in the rear-end of the aircraft it looks like the logo is correctly painted instead of misaligned. It does seems a bit weard from the point you are sitting but if you would have been a little more to the back it actually makes sense

Flying on an empty flight means extra comfort, but I'd love to see full-flight like now, even though it's quite uncomfortable. As most A330s, the cabin wasn't the newest version, with dated IFE. However, it still looks very nice.

KLM has a reason to offer such a great product, especially the legroom, when it comes to flying to Dubai, because everyone would fly Emirates if the competition had a weak 😀 product. Good job Emirates for forcing others to improve their hard products for the customer.

I have an app that tells me all the live traffic. If I can’t find it on time there I’ll just look up the registration after. Love knowing where planes are going!

Yes, when it’s very hot the Airbus planes leave the slats deployed.

Hey Felix, I believe KLM codeshares with Delta on almost all flights. And I don’t think I was connecting on this day, have family in Amsterdam so I always go visit :D
