What kills Polaris for United is the extremely poor food and single tray service is not acceptable if you're actually paying for the ticket

I just got back from my trip IAD to Tokyo. United did not used the single serve tray. I was surprised. I prefer the single serve tray. We also flew Thai airway from Tokyo to Bangkok, they do not serve single tray and I hated it. It took over 1 hour just to get a full meal. The entire meal process to 2 hours. When you are tired from traveling, this process is a waste of time

@@latoyabaker6302 I actually prefer the longer service on NA-ASIA routes. Breaks up the long flight with plenty of time to sleep. Quick east coast transatlantic flights the single tray service makes sense.

@John-bi1lv On my flight back from Tokyo to IAD, I slept 9 hours straight. I prefer single serve tray so I can rest as soon as possible and the lights get turned off. Thai airway food services, my husband got his meal 15 mins before I did. My FA was extremely slow. He ate majority of his meal. We usually eat together.
