@@NewcastleFlyer maybe good idea to confirm if you can those rows that don't have windows on your flights. I did that when flying on Thomas Cook A330. Imagine a 9 hour flight with no window. 😡

It saves fuel because the removal of window blinds reduces the weight of the aircraft, meaning less fuel is necessary. Reduced aircraft weight means reduced fuel load, in turn reducing the operating costs for Jet2.
