TRIP REPORT | Jet2 | Amazing Experience! (again) ツ | Mallorca to London Stansted | Boeing 737

Jet2 trip report flying from Mallorca to London Stansted on a Boeing 737 with the Jet2 livery on sunny a hot summer morning.
This was my second flight with Jet2 and, again, it was an amazing experience. This time I could not order one of their amazing pre-ordered breakfast, as they are only available if the plane stays in the UK during the night, but I tried the onboard catering. A great choice as well!
This time we flew on a Boeing 737 equipped with the new Boeing Sky Interior and with the Jet2 main livery.

I love Jet2..I've flown with them from GLA,MAN and STN and always had a very pleasant experience both on the ground and onboard..They are very polite and very professional..And i dont know how they do it on their 737s and the same config. of 189 pax is very comfortable..I just wanna try their 757s and the A330s to Tenerife

Great Video! You may remember from your last Jet2 video that I commented on my numerous poor experiences of them but I’m pleased to see that you have had two good experiences with them. I’m flying them on an abnormally cheap flight from Newcastle to Lanzarote next month (£37 one way) so I can see if I think they have improved.

Personally I think that TUI Airways is a great choice (I have flown on their 737-800 and 787-9) and they didn’t disappoint on my many short haul flights with them, or on my trip to Jamaica two years ago! They are in my opinion much better than Jet2, the only downside is that the flights are quite expensive with them

@@NewcastleFlyer The TUI B787 is one of my objectives for this winter, but it's not easy to find flights operated by them, basically because the website doesn't say anything about the airplane that is gonna be operating your flight. So the only moment when you can check the plane type is on seat selection, always after buying the ticket. Do you know any way to check it?

OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Sadly with TUI you are in a difficult position. If you want a 787 on a short haul flight then it will definitely be from either Gatwick or Manchester. You can (I think) see the seat map 90 days before departure so if you book a flight less than 3 months before travel you should be able to view a seatmap. If not then you will be able to see after booking. You could book a flight, check the seat map and then cancel the flight or you could book your flight on the phone as they have always been very helpful in my experience

Well, I flew 3 times with Jet2 already and I always had a good experience. Perhaps, the last one (that I've recorded a few days ago) from Barcelona to Manchester was the worse of those 3 but was nice overall. It will be available on the channel in a few weeks :)

I think I may have commented on your last Jet2 video about the annoying cabin announcements, they're all a bit "kids TV" for my liking! But still, I guess they know their market, which seems to be holidaymakers who probably don't fly that often, and it probably works for them. They do seem like a friendly airline though. I do like your videos, although you did miss the opportunity to point out Hayling Island, which is probably more interesting than Havant! 😊. Keep on doing what you do though. 👍

G- JZBK I flew home from Benidorm on that in October 2018 but the cabin lights were red. I prefer the red cabin lights it's something different and it suits Jet2.

Haha Well, I think it's just practise... I've been doing videos on the channel for more than 4 years, si I've learned how to hold the camera with both hands and anticipate what is going to happen at almost every moment of the flight. Hope this comment means that you've enjoyed the video! :))

Haha Thanks so much! I always try to show reality in the most accurate way. However, bear in mind that here, on the video, we are watching a 2h+ flight in 15 minutes, so the announces may seem too long compared with the duration of the video. Greetings from Madrid! :)

Haha They a very nice effect. It happens when the air has a lot of moisture, over the wing the pressure is lower, so the water vapour of the air condensates, forming that "little cloud" over the wing. :)

Jet2 is my favourite airline and the 737-800 is my favourite aircraft! I have flew with them a lot, the staff are always friendly and their in flight menu is always good. I can't say anything bad about them.
