Jet2 Trip Report onboard an amazing Sky Interior Boeing 737 from Gran Canaria to London Stansted.
On this video, I've added as many crew announcements as possible. What do you think are they cheesy or amazing? I want to know your opinion! :)
I must say that the experience onboard was great, as always with Jet2. The onboard meal was good and tasty (however, I feel the quantity could be better). A nice 4 hours flight with Jet2 after great holidays on the Canary Islands!

I love flying with Jet2..They excellent legroom,nice interiors,very nice cabin crew and always pretty good service from ground to air to ground again..Now if only i can get to fly with their 757s next time!

Great video again, Lucas. Ive never flown Jet 2 but from your film, I wouldn't have said this was cheesy, in fact its refreshing to hear something other than the standard patter you get on most aircraft! I also like the sky interiors of the Boeing 737, but all that red lighting was slightly reminiscent of a brothel !!! (not that i'd know I hasten to add!) Glad to see that Jet 2 offers pre-orderable food - I wish more airlines did that, but your breakfast didnt look comparable with the Austrian version that I shall be enjoying in 2 weeks time haha!!

It's a pleasure that you've enjoyed it so much! :) I've put that title because there was always a kind of debate about that in other Jet2 trip reports, so I would like to know people's opinion :) I agree 100% with you about pre-ordered meals. It's perfect to have that option and be able to have a hot meal onboard. Austrian hot breakfast is, by far, the best one onboard an airplane in Europe. There's no doubt on that. Enjoy it mate! :)

Muchas gracias, Rafael! Un placer que así haya sido! El Sky Interior de Boeing ha sido un enorme avance en lo que a confort se refiere. No sólo por la iluminación LED, que también, sino al mayor espacio y sensación de cabina más amplia que da el nuevo diseño de los compartimentos portaequipajes. El sábado que viene toca estrenar aerolínea volando por el norte de Europa a Polonia! Saludos! :)

Again a great work with stunning sceneries on departure!😍,btw I don’t understand why some airlines still forbid to use mobile phones during takeoff and landing even in flight mode!I think airline safety committees should make a generalisation about it. It makes no sense when you fly with the same aircraft type in 2 different airlines and have different rules for the same plane!🧐I had difficulties filming in the past a lot because of that.btw Jet2 is still a great airline!😊

I always had great experiences flying with Jet2, however, maybe they could make more spoken msgs, and not all of them pre-recorded. In some weeks I will upload a flight from Stansted to Tenerife South with Jet2! 😊✈

I flew with Jet2 to Meaderia a few years ago, it's a great island, the only thing that was bad was that it was drizzling when we landed and the UK was going through a heatwave so the weather was better at home at the time

Cheesy and patronising, even the cabin crew cant be trusted to make cabin announcements it would seem? Never flown with them, but one thing I will say, having listened to many people who have flown with them is, their cabin crew seem to be genuine hard working, welcoming people. Recently voted the second best short haul airline in the UK, with the famous Aurigny Air taking first position. Yes, JET2 actually beat, KLM, Lufthansa, Aer Lingus, SAS, Swiss Air, TAP Air Portugal, Easyjet and TUI, poor old British Airways came in at number 15, two behind Ryanair. Thanks so much! I don't know, they are different airlines. Ryanair is the one that offers the best fares. Easyjet, even though that it's a low-cost airline, they have higher fares than Ryanair. Onboard... they are pretty similar.

If you fly with them a lot I suppose it does get annoying and boring. Looking forward to your video uploaded to Tenerife. Same seat number as the one going to Stansted was it? Like the view you had.

I don’t think the PA was used once by the crew. All the automatic recordings, I would say that is the only cheesy thing. All the other details, quite nice.

Probably with the exception of "doors to automatic, crosscheck and report please" it was all pre recorded. I'd say pre recorded cabin announcements account for about 60% of Ryanairs announcements

I have only flown with Jet2 once to Malta on a 737-800. I found the announcements to be more catered for children, annoying and loud. After a few announcements were played another one would be played like 15 minutes later and when trying to get rest it was unpleasant, besides this I would love to fly with them more I did have a good first experience with them.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Yep, I think a little the same way. Sometimes, they go beyond "limits" trying to be friendly. However, I'm sure that they have very well targeted their passengers, and that's why they are performing so well in this complicated environment for European aviation.

Tal vez pero generalmente se busca aterrizar seguro y no suave. Cuanto más suave tocas pista más longitud necesitas.

Jet2 está a medio camino entre low-cost y aerolínea charters. La verdad es que yo tampoco la definiría como una low-cost verdadera. Aunque tampoco diría que son verdaderas low-cost otras muchas aerolíneas... para mi hay 2 verdaderas low-cost en Europa: Ryanair y Wizzair. Del resto... bueno, hay alguna que quiere serlo, pero sus tarifas no dicen lo mismo siempre...

i used jet2 in the early days of their business. it was a great service but as always their success made them start cutting corners and they have now become more profit orientated. they board on the runway where as it used to be boarding at the terminal. the service onboard is terrible with ignorant and rude staff who ignore you when you ask for something. i had to ask 4 different members of the crew on my last trip with them. i now fly with TUI. i wont be using jet2 again.

Great video. For me personally, Jet2 are just far to cheesy, the announcements feel like they are talking to children. I also prefer it when the cabin crew speak themselves, and its not pre recorded. It makes it feel a bit more personable. Thomas Cook Airlines was always my favourite, and in my opinion the best, I will miss them dreadfully. My choice now though, is TUI Airways. Them compare well to Thomas Cook. Can you try their 737 or 757 again soon??
