Nice video! Two corrections only: One already mentioned (the airport in Athens that you show is the old Hellinikon) and the other is that Santorini and Thira are alternative names of the same island, so one can not say that Santorini is located in Thira island. Thanks and keep it up!

Loved this review. I used to live in Birmingham and used the airport a few times. Good to see it again but still pretty quiet from how I remember it. What a hair raising descent and landing into Santorini. Stunningly beautiful views though! 😍 Many thanks Lucas 😊

6:34 i think it was the old Jet2 that has been flying from Manchester during 2019. They are now used as "air tanker" and fly to Brize Norton alot.

That's not possible. As far as I know, the one that was flying for Jet2 was an A330-200, not an A330-300 as this one :)

Great video. I didn’t seem to have any problem with leg room when I flew with Jet2. Maybe that depends on how tall you are. I’m a short arse and stand at 5’9 so that probably explains it

I think the problem are the seats. A model with the back not being completely hard would be more comfortable. Anyway, the overall experience with Jet2 is always great :)

Hey Lucas, Welcome to my home city and airport BHX ;-) As much as I like Jet2, I didn't think the announcements were going to stop, I think it is time for them to reduce the number of announcements as it is starting to annoy me. I thought Ryanair were bad but Jet 2 is on another planet. I have decided that for 2022 I am going to try TUI UK for my next holiday. I haven't been with TUI which used to be called Thomson Holidays since the airline was called Britannia airways some years ago ;-) Great trip report as always mate, keep up the good work ;-)

I remembered you when I was in BHX :) I was going to ask you if you were nearby the airport to have a beer/coffee, but I arrived too late from my previous flight and you can see the departure time of this one. I just stayed in a hotel next to the airport for sleeping a few hours before going to record again :) I'll try to fly with TUI UK soon in their B767. I'm curious about it. Wish you a nice Sunday! :)

Excellent vid and superb views..Thira and Santorini are the same thing..Thira is the ancient greek name of Santorini..Santorini comes from the medieval times, during the Crusades, named after the church of Santa Irene located in Perissa..Although Thira is still the official name, Santa+Irini/Santorini prevailed in Greece as in the rest of the world
