Hey Alex, Matthew here from South Africa, thanks very much for this video. I remember you said you were going to do a Kulula review when you did BA (Comair), so I've been looking out for this one. It was a sad and quite shocking day for SA aviation when Comair closed its doors. I remember flying business class for the first time with BA Comair on a domestic flight and the day Kulula launched as our first ever LCC 😔 but it has made great space for some of our other great airlines like Cemair, FlySafair, Airlink and our newest, Lift. So a silver lining there. I'm sorry to hear everyone feels so scared visiting SA, but it is sadly true. My wife and I live in George, a town of about 150 000 population and we've been victims of crime probably over 30 times. But I really appreciate that people still support our tourism and economy by visiting. Thanks again for the great videos!! Matt

Thanks a zillion for this fantastic video, I really appreciate your love and kindness towards the crew,it's quite unfortunate that the airline had to rest, it brought back memories of how air nigeria was suspended in 2012, it was on our return trip out of London back to Nigeria, that our passengers told us onboard that our chairman announced on national television that particular flight was the last. Thanks for your lovely narative

The only real bad thing about your videos is that they are always too short for my liking 🤣They're such a good entertainment, packed with interesting information and full of your subtle and funny joke and...all of a sudden, you're already saying goodbye. In spring 2015(for me as dutchman the fall), I flying from JNB to CPT with this airliner during my vacation in South Africa . It was a good flight and the crew was perfect! By the way I live in the Netherlands!😀✈👍

Kulula was the most "fun" airline ever, so vibrant and happy.. Do you know who will take over their(and BA's) fleet? Seems FlySafair and airlink are the major domestic airlines to date

Safair took over most of the airports. No idea who will take the planes, I guess that the -400’s are sadly heading for the coke can factory but the -800’s are quite new so I’m sure they’ll find a new home. So far I can’t see any adoptions!

As always a very good video sad the airline gone down under - I had attended an interesting webinar recently hosted by Simple Flying Jonna Bailey with Johathan Ayache CEO of of Lift ex Uber along with Gideon Novick former Kulula . Lift began operating the busy Cape town Johannesburg route at a time when Comair and South African Airways had issues . Operating with 3 Airbus 320 a hybrid model full service airline which include luggage prebooking seat food selection throw in silent disco tambola on flight as entertainment . Has plans to extend its network overseas across Africa
