These may be the last days of the A318's in Tarom's fleet. I've heard they are planning to sell the when they will get the B737 MAX. A318 it's a mistery for me - I never understood why an airliner would buy an A318 instead of an A320.

They were purchased to strengthen relationships with France, maybe they got a better deal buying them due to the low demand Airbus found with them than if they had bought A320’s which were selling well and had no reason to offer a cheaper price to gain sales.

Hey, I have a question, how is the leg room, i am a tall dude and low cost type of leg room doesn't do it for me

Hello, thank you for your comment! The leg room for me was absolutely fine, but I am only 5ft 5 in height so someone with longer legs may have more of a squeeze. Please also note that their aircraft have different configurations, the aircraft I flew to Bucharest on had a different layout to the one I flew back in which means you could find yourself with more or less legroom depending on the aircraft chosen that day to operate the flight. I hope this helps.
