Well for the way its marketed in the UK, its advertised as amazing. It was sloppy processed breakfast. I was just being kind when I said he could do better, but in fairness he needs to do a lot more.

Thanks for sharing! The cabin looks pretty neat as does the IFE! How tall are you? Legroom looked really good. Not really an airline I have considered flying with...haha...Do they have any Buy on board options to supplement the cheese toastie?

The cabin was very nice for economy, fresh and clean to be fair. I'm 5FT 11 and had pretty good leg room. Yes they have food you can purchase outside of the free food for the entire flight. Just pull up the menu on your screen and call the crew.

Great review. An end to end travel experience. The legroom was quite impressive for an economy seat let alone a charter airline. The café prices seemed quite reasonable. Good stuff. :-)

Yes sadly just the one option for Dinner & breakfast, but they were both free. You could buy sandwiches and crisps etc from the menu if you needed. Water was the only free drink on the flight and it was aircraft water.

Yes the food was a little basic, but the fares say it all. On average Thomas cook is around 600 GBP return where BA averages between 900 - 1100 GBP return. So the savings can be huge.

Al the meals I had in this video were included in the ticket price. I did not purchase anything extra. The basic entertainment is free, but the bigger package was 5 pounds.

Was the breakfast Scrambled Egg? I avoid Scrambled Egg at buffets and on aeroplanes. It never works when it is made in advance.

Yep it was indeed just a cheese sandwich, but I can't blame Thomas Cook, they are offering fares at half the price of BA on this route, I guess I expected less from the start. Though I do hear that BA are not so great on this route either when it comes to the food or the ages of the planes. I enjoyed the non-stop service more than anything else, if not flying BA then I don't want to fly all the way to DXB etc and go out of the way. I had a good enough flight, I mean it was not business or first class cabin, but it was fine.

That's what I like about your TRs James you will go from first class to premium to low cost and now Thomas Cook. I flew to Banjul, The Gambia a few years ago on an old Thomas Cook B757. it was a dreadful 6 hour flight...legroom was simply torturous. I also had the celebrity chefs breakfast...not very celeb about it at all. Excellent TR👍.

Thanks Buddy. For me the fun is also the destination, I might fly a lot but I enjoy where I go and had a fantastic two weeks in South Africa. So the non-stop service, despite being economy did offer an incredible fare compared to BA, almost half as much. For me its fun to experience different airlines or I can't make a good comparison , and the same goes with being in economy. I find being at the back really makes me appreciate my time at the front more. Glad you enjoyed it though. The A330's are much more fresh than the old 757's they used to have.

It is long haul experiences only that have a personal IFE . Mid haul has 1 per 5-8 rows on the roof and short hauls may have 1 per 10 but I can't confirm short haul as never been on one. (based on TCX UK/SCANDINAVIA)
