The -E2 is a lovely aircraft. It looks a lot more grown up compared to the older E-Jets. I see the seats at the back of the cabin are slightly different compared to your seat. I suppose it’s so they can extend the business cabin divider further back if required on busier flights. Definitely a windy landing approach, makes things more interesting for sure! ✈️

Thanks for a great review ! The Embraer E2 is certainly a wonderfully quiet aircraft. I have flown in several 787s, all with Rolls engines, and they too are excellent. I hope to fly in a B.A. A350 this Autumn, to Boston, but that depends on the Covid situation in the U.K. An interesting fact about the A350 is that all have Rolls engines, and there is no alternative as with the B.787. All reports I have seen about the A350 have been very impressive, including your reviews !

However, form the recording point of view, there is something that I don't like from the B787 and it's their windows. As there are no windows blinds, the windows turn dark to avoid light entering. But that means that even in max brightness, the windows are not completely transparent... so the quality of the video is not the optimum. Otherwise, brilliant plane :)

In my opinion KLM is one of the best European full-service airline. The catering (even on short-haul flights) is pretty good and the KLM-staff more as friendly and helpful. And many, many black flight-attendants working with this airline. I,d like it that an airline outside the U.S. and African countries will recrute soo many black flight-attendants.

Totalmente! La verdad es qe fue una gozada volar en este avión! Por ahora he visto que lo han metido en las rutas a Varsovia, Berlí y Billund. Pero es cuestión de tiempo que lo comiencen a poner en más y más rutas, pues es tremendamente más eficiente que cualquier otro de KLM CityHopper :) Por ahora ha sido un patrocinio de este vídeo exclusivamente. Veremos si se puede repetir... Pues el sueño de traer a aerolíneas tipo Emirates, Qatar... al canal, estaría mucho más cerca :)

Nice video as usual. However, “extreme turbolence” refers to a meteorological situation where the airplane becomes uncontrollable (you might even fly inverted) and structural damages may occur. What I saw here was a “normal” and safe landing in gusty conditions. Love the quality of your videos, no weird music, no zooming. Straigth to the action like it should be. Cheers!

Thanks, Giovanni. Glad that you've enjoyed it :) A landing with G50 (gusts of 50kt) it's something near to extreme. That's why I've put that title. The point is that the camera I use stabilizes a lot the image, so it doesn't look that it was shaking a lot... but it definitely was. Ah! At any moment I've said it was not a completely safe landing ;)

@@OnBoardHD I understand, you as a passenger might believe that. But as a pilot, I can confirm to you it was a safe landing and within the airplane limitations ( no wind shear) . Otherwise you would have filmed a go-around 😅👍 One time I broke my tooth in severe turbulence (trying to speak on the radio)...and it was not even near an extreme one🙈 Some places we fly, the winds are minimum at 50kt, gusts all over the place, we shake like your flight but we land "normally". Other times, we do go-arounds wit almost no wind, but "windshear" alarm sounds right before landing, with few ignorant passengers disembarking shouting "shitty pilots" sometimes😂🙈 My point is, landing in windy conditions is difficult but safe and normal. Not landing in windy conditions, it's the safest option😂👍 Cheers mate

Just when I thought: This is really quiet, your question appeared on top of the screen. Earlier this week I discovered that this plane has bicycle style steering, and not the yoke of Boeing aircraft or the side stick from airbus. Strange. But as you said, the E2 use less fuel than an A220. Yes, I enjoyed this video.

Me ha encantado el vídeo Lucas, maravillosa y movidita aproximación, pero un aterrizaje muy rápido. He sentido el cosquilleo en la barriga mientras lo veía, cómo se agitaba el ala, casi parecía que estaba dentro. Respecto al avión, unas líneas muy bonitas y cómodo. En aerolíneas españolas se ven pocos no? Tiene más relevancia por el resto de aerolíneas europeas. Me llamó la atención que no tenga winglets, parece que todos los aviones nuevos los llevan de una u otra forma. Un saludo!

Another quiet aircraft is --- A320Neo with the same engines or so, recently I flew on Iberia A320Neo, indeed the whole flight was quiet!

Un vídeo estupendo, como siempre!! No me gusta que los aviones nuevos sean tan silenciosos, hecho de menos escuchar la potencia en el despegue... como la de los motores CFM del A320. ¿Tú prefieres aviones silenciosos o tradicionales?

The new Embraer wingtips, are in some way, similar to the B777 and B787, because of that, the winglets are not necessary.

Well, the reason why they are not fitting them is not that... hehe When the wing ends on a special shape (basically on a very small tip) it makes already the effect of a winglet.
