Flying in the back of the bus for 6hrs doing a transcon? This is one journey of yours I don't envy! For a distance such as this,give me jetBlue's Mint class instead! Are you still based out of Peoria? How did you get to IAD? Any family or friends to greet you at LA? Do the -900's have seatback IFE with DirectTV? No sense of how you kept yourself entertained during this long flight--hope you had a meal of some sort before boarding,not even a snack bag handed out?

It could have been worse but I was definitely anxious for the flight to land with about an hour left! I'll have to try jetBlue in the near future as they're an airline I have yet to try. Still based out of PIA but flying around to try different airports. As with all other major airports, I usually use their Uber/Lyft areas for transportation to and from the airport. Unfortunately, these aircraft did not have the seatback IFE but the mobile options for IFE was plenty!

Nice report! IAD is a nice airport but it's really inconvenient to get to and the bus thing is annoying. New subscriber by the way, who uses the same music as you in their videos lol. Hope to try UA one day.

Thanks for watching! I was impressed with IAD at first glance but yes, I agree with the bus transport. I feel lucky I could take the train during this departure. Prior to covid on a united flight from iad to ord if you asked the fa's really nicely for the full can do you think they would give it?

I believe so! United's flight attendant staff is always generous so I believe that they would.
