We were there about 12 years ago and there was a great Italian "restaurant" out in the jungle. We sat on a porch of a house and they made some amazing food. I want to come back so bad. Waiting for the kid to get a little older so he can really enjoy it.

Nice vid. Been meaning to check Pavones out for a while now. BTW, nothing in classic chileros is fermented; Just spicy peppers and vegetables in vinegar. If your carrot's fermented, it's been there for a while. 😂

Is the airport still being built in Pavones? I know there were talks about building an airport. Not sure if that would be a good thing or a bad thing. It will definitely be good for the town as far as tourism goes. I would just hate to see it turn into another Jaco. I love Jaco and have a lot of friends that live there, I just think it got way too Americanized in my opinion. Great video and channel! Have a blessed one🤙

Golfito Airport, You'll need to land in Juan Santamaria ( San Jose ) and take a small plane, it's the closest

​@@markrosenquist8259 Hi Mark I live here in Cocal the muni plans are layed out for a runway here, but nothing has been done. They've been talking about it for 15 years now. I think they are waiting for town to provide more for tourists. Unfortunately the town has been going backwards with growth. Ever since the cantina got burned down and LaManta was bulldozed there is only a few small places to eat. They still have no access to cash here, which has been a issue for us cabin owners. This season 2023 we have seen a lot of new faces and development. So we are patiently waiting to see how this is all gonna turn out. GoodTimes Pura Vida !
