That kittycaster is great. I currently have harmonious monk and one other. But the quality of Howard's stuff is really dang good

Harmonious Monk is almost like a cross between harmonic trem and vibe. The wave form and throb are more like vibe, while the phase is more like harmonic trem. I have one and love it, but compared to an actual amp harmonic tremolo, it can be more difficult to dial in and too intense. If you want almost an exact clone of an amp tremolo, the Surfy or Subdecay are closer than the Monk, but ultimately the Monk sounds better to me.

Nice demo as always - thank you : ) What is the chord sequence that you always play on these demos? I'd like to try it with my trem pedals : )

I typically just do Em, C and G, but I capo it at random frets. I throw in random hammer ons and pull offs on occasion. I usually walk G down from 3rd to 2nd fret on low E, then go to the Em chord. No fancy fingerings really, just cowboy chords and a capo.

Love this expanding series! Do you have a favorite out of all the ones youve tried? Gotta say the Sunflower is really the most impressive sounding to me
@TriPedalReviews2 жыл бұрын
My favorite Tremolo, harmonic or otherwise is the Twin Peaks, but there are a lot of them I like. The Sunflower is for sure one of my recent favorites. I think it's absolutely killer. My only gripe on it really is not being able to control the Duty cycle on the square wave. Other than that, I have no complaints with it. It's got a clarity to it I love.

OK I have a critique the audio is great I don’t like that I don’t know what your little circular thing spinning about at the bottom of the page indicates it looks like it should be some form of timer and possibly I missed some thing that you explained but I haven’t the vaguest idea watching it what paddle you’re using I just to keep play the same thing over and over again. Generally when people are doing reviews you will highlight the pedal or something to indicate that you have a D change from one petal to another I have a Vegas fucking idea which one you using but I’m old and impatient

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes I put text to indicate what pedal is on, but I'm also old and lazy, and that takes a lot of editing time which i find boring. The spinny light is just an audio visualizer. No significance to it other than I figured it might be something to look at since the only thing changing in this video is which pedal is on at any given time. There are 2 ways you can tell which pedal is on. The first is look at the bypass lights on the pedals. They are illuminated when the respective pedal is on. The second way would be to hover your mouse over the timeline bar around where the video is up to and it'll tell you which pedal its on at any given time. If you are interested in hearing a particular pedal, you can expand the description and just click the timestamps near the pedal you want to hear.
