Huawei has fixed the 4K stabilisation in recent update, by the way. It no longer has warping effect and footage looks well stabilised and smooth.

@@saauuzza Thanks i knew p30 was not that great. Dont love the lcd screen on those Huawei, got the y9 to check it out, its so heavy and the camera is ok, lcd looks bad. Love the oled in Lg Amoled on samsung too over saturated. I have the v30 and its perfect.

I like the colours from V40 better, but 20Pro is much sharper and not oversharpend as V40. Anyway I owe 20 Pro and in my hands this wide angle is much better than in one picture on this video

The mate 20 pro's camera looks better tho there are few photos when the v40 looks better and I think video is better with the v40 tho I rarely use the selfie camera i would have liked to see you compare the selfie cameras too but overall this is a good video it gives you enough information to compare those two camera sets

What the he** happened with LG phone cameras? The actual photo quality went downhill since the G4 / V10. Tiny cheap sensors that needs heavy software processing (bad such) to make the photos passable. But for videos it is not so easy to put make up on bad sensor results. The videos in low light and photo level of detail is shockingly bad from the G6 and up. Actually worse and worse. And yes... i currently own G4, V10, G5 and G6. I bought the G7 but returned it. I am utterly disappointed in LG.

The LG V40 main rear camera sensor size is 1/2.6" exactly as the LG V10 had, back then! It's not a smaller, cheaper image sensor like other LG models have! However, the LG V10 one has a resolution of 16 MP with laser assisted autofocus. The LG V40 main rear camera sensor is a 12 MP one with dual pixel technology and other technical differences... The LG G6, G7 and the V30 were all equipped with tiny sensors, as you mentioned it! I have a LG V10 as my everyday smartphone and I just ordered a LG V40 ThinQ (brand new device) by half the initial retail price. It will arrive soon! I never liked the LG G6 or the G7! I hope I won't get disappointed with the LG V40! My best regards.💪

V40 photos are absolutely terrible. Over sharpen to the max. Look at the buildings around the top.. Wow. In fact all the shots and video are terrible on the LG especially the low light.

I have the V40 and Mi Mix 2S. Honestly LG is just lacking something in it's photos, the Xiaomi phone takes consistently better photos, whereas the V40 seems to struggle, it's hard to explain
