Nice one Jamie Every so often I do see the long island steel train running in the Melbourne metropolitan area since I catch the train to university at Richmond, but freight trains are out of reach as they appear at random intervals within the network. Another train I see is the regular ballast train to the Westall workshops, regular motive power is a G class diesel. I also saw your video on the Steamrail Glen Waverly shuttles, it was nice to see steam trains running there again and hear them climbing up Jordanville Bank as it's a wonderful rhythm to hear the two K class locomotives working hard. I said in the comments another video that if I want to film freight, I should go to Middle Footscray. However, after watching this, I'm thinking now, 'Hmm... the Long Island Steel Train on the Stony Point line is another possibility too.' I'm wondering when the best time of week to film this train is, because, I kind of want to film it when there is the opportunity to do so!

Although that is a good idea, the Long Island won't run for the next 3 weeks due to an occupation.
