Are the steel coils transferred from SG to BG wagons or bogie swapped?

@@johnhutchinson9714 the steel rolls get transferred from a train that comes from NSW (SG) at North Dynon to the Long Island steel train (BG).

I know this was over a year ago but that wasn't the first time in years steam had returned to Drysdale 3620 had been pulling the Q train fairly regularly at the time and I believe the T had been pulling the blues train to drysdale as well

When and why did we stop calling them 'goods trains'? I hate the American freight train name.

I think the term 'goods train' was used back in the 20th century when most trains carried a short amount of dry goods like wheat and wet goods like milk. Over the years the word freight has become a word used for (long) goods trains therefore making it a freight train.

I'm pretty sure it normally would, but if things happen like an occupation or a late running train then it could possibly run as 9561 or maybe not run at all.

Dont know much about Australian Railways, but that's probably to relocate locomotives to somewhere else on the network without tieing up the line with light power

Glad you asked. The C classes were transferred to SCT's hub in Laverton. The C classes were meant to come in last week, but didn't end up doing so as the train they were on was over 10 hours late into Adelaide. The C classes destination is Cootamundra after they got bought by SSR for mainline use in 2025.
