It looks and sounds harder than it actually is. The majority of the sound is actually in the tongue and lips. You produce the trill by vibrating your tongue over the air hole of the ocarina. After that it's really just practice.

Probably the best ocarina player I've seen to this day. I can't get over the way he can do tremolo, phrasing and dynamics with this instrument, which I thought was impossible with the ocarina! I'm learning to play the ocarina too and I only *wish* I can get half of this guy's competence after practicing for the next ten years

@Aincalandorn I bought the Zelda tenor from STL Ocarinas and I was able to figure out how to play Zelda's Lullaby within less than an hour. I have absolutely NO musical experience (except for a clarinet that I messed around with for a little bit back in the 6th grade). It seems to be an easy instrument to pick up, but I've heard its hard to master it completely. I love the ocarina!

As the title suggests, it's a triple ocarina. Made with three chambers so that it can play three octaves. Basically you take a sweet potato ocarina, and then smash an extra set of holes onto it until you have the range you want. The largest I've seen is four chambers, but they're really expensive and hard to come by.

@Luxverus You obviously couldn't know less about ocarinas with multiple chambers. He keeps his fingers in the same place, but blows through different chambers.The notes fit perfectly well with the video.

It's actually really difficult to make clay ocarina in the sweet-potato fashion to start with. Making a 2 or 3 chambered one is taking one and adding another chamber on. It's easier if you have a mold, but not so much if you're doing it by hand... I've tried.
