Using the SPHERE imager om the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope (VLT), astronomers have directly imaged a planet (HD 131399Ab) with three suns. Take a tour of the system with VLT imagery and and an artist impression of their orbits. -- Full Story: goo.gl/sLxrAF

Thought it was Bonnie Hill that drew the map in hypnosis from there abduction before the system was even discovered.

But it does experience night time, when all 3 stars are aligned on the same hemisphere shown at 1:32 only that the daylight and seasonal cycles will be way out of whack compared to ours.

Btw this isn’t Zeta Reticuli. That’s a 2 star binary system in a totally different constellation. A lot of people are in the comments confusing this system as the one Bob Lazar mentioned, assumably because this actually has a detected exoplanet. A couple things should be mentioned: First, Due to its size and conditions of its system there is no way this planet is actually terrestrial and if it were it would be completely inhospitable. in fact it’s more likely that the “planet” is actually a brown dwarf star. Secondly, the Zeta Reticuli system orbits on a different angled plane than our system. From our prospective we see the system from more of a top down kind of prospective, making the transit method to detect orbiting bodies impossible. However this does not mean that there are no planets orbiting the stars. The stars have a very safe and stable orbit that is both far enough, and interact with each other just enough so that the combined energy of their presence could theoretically aid the development of complex life on any earth sized terrestrial world that orbits around the same distance as earth does to our sun without posing a severe danger. The advantage of additional energy from 2 stars could also possibly make up for the systems relatively young age. If life exists there I hypothesize that it probably evolved extraordinarily fast and experienced few extinction events on the way in contrast to Earth. I assume that this is what gave rise to the supposed advanced civilization there. Additionally the possibility of a planetary system existing in Zeta Reticuli is supported do to the presence of what scientists believe to be a dust disk detected around one of the stars. This indicates that the materials necessary for planets to form is present. Anyway that’s my little schizophrenic rant lol. I just wanted to leave this here for anyone genuinely interested in that system since it seems a lot of people are here for that. Unfortunately not a lot of information is found easily about that system without doing some serious research but I strongly encourage anyone interested to look into it. I’m no crazy ufo conspiracy theorist, I’m just someone with a deep interest in star system physics. And even with my limited knowledge I have to admit Zeta Reticuli is definitely one of the most perfect places for a world with life to exist.

From the linked article in the description. And to the kids out there - gain more insight by reading more : "For about half of the planet's orbit, which lasts 550 Earth-years, three stars are visible in the sky, the fainter two always much closer together, and changing in apparent separation from the brightest star throughout the year," Wagner said in the statement. "For much of the planet's year, the [three] stars appear close together, giving it a familiar nightside and dayside with a unique triple sunset and sunrise each day. As the planet orbits and the stars grow farther apart each day, they reach a point where the setting of one coincides with the rising of [the other two] - at which point the planet is in near-constant daytime for about one-quarter of its orbit, or roughly 140 Earth-years."

Aren't these actually pretty common? Like 1/3 of the lights in the night sky are multi-star systems? Or was that just an exaggeration I heard somewhere? I mean I always thought it made sense, seeing how stars are formed, that single star systems wouldn't be a vast majority.
