I just love youtube, one night I search up "peugeot 406", because I saw one parked in my street and like the way it looked and made me think of my childhood. Progressively over the last week, youtube's recommendation algorithm has served me different videos about the peugeot 406. Your video put the biggest smile on my face, because I was waiting for that one 406 enthusiast that I knew would exist somewhere. Just goes to show how good the youtube algorithm knows what I want. Bless you my friend, watched the video with a grin on my face the entire time.

Really appreciate the realness of this review. I remained glued to my screen. My first car was a 1994 Citroen Xantia, which is supposed to be similar to the 406 apart from the hydraulic suspension. My experience with the car was a nightmare as I was a young driver back in 2006 and in my country Trinidad ( Caribbean ) these cars aren't plentiful and so, parts were expensive. I still have an appreciation for the 406 because I love the way it looks... videos like these are what we need and need to support. Much respect to you sir! God bless!!!

Hey, thanks for watching. I also had the old Citroen Xantia before I bought my first 406 long time ago. It was pretty cool car with it's adjustable suspesion, which was pretty cool for that time. Sadly, the cambelt snapped on me in the car while I was out and at that time I had 0 knowlegde about cars, I would not be able to change oil and been told the car is most likely done for... it sat in front of my house for 2 years and when trees started to grow out of it I let somebody tow it away... good car tho.

@@KillerkoUK I agree with you...I guess we live and we learn. I now own a 1998 Toyota Corolla which has been a mych easier experience. I've also had a 2002 Renault Clio and a 1995 Mitsubishi CB3 Lancer. Thankful for everythibg I've learned through ownership of them all... looking forward to move on and purchase something better next year. Not sure yet what it will be.

These cars actually look great! Especially the """"""Tesla"""""" one lol, I didn't know black matched so well with cars! :0 Sadly they have a few issues, but hopefully they can be fixed. It would be cool to see these cars fixed! (sorry for the late comment btw, youtube trolled me and didn't notify me for your video, I only found out about it after searching your channel up)

Lovely Executive, please run your AC for 20 minutes every month even in winter. When you come off the motorway please don't switch off without 1 minute running. Spray Dinatrol on the rust.

Thanks, I'm currently in europe with the blue one.. but haven't heard about the not switching off for 1 minute when you get off motorway before. Any reason for that?

@@KillerkoUK It's to prevent heat soak of the turbo. It's only really relevant after a hard drive, or when you first come off the motorway or a period of sustained running. The turbo gets very hot, if you switch it straight off the oil supply is stopped and the oil in the bearings can actually get cooked and solidified. By giving it a minute to idle you're allowing the oil to continue flowing through the charger, and reduce the peak temperature of the bearings. Obviously most of the time after high speed/hard driving you've got at least that long where you've had to slow right down anyway, urban environment, traffic lights/junctions. But you never want to just pull in after sustained high speed/hard driving and just switch off. After driving at 80+ or more if you're on the Autobahn you'll possibly want to give it a bit more time. Maybe nearly 2 minutes.

Hello restore the "blue 406" to a new condition, install the wheels (r17) from the 2013 Peugeot 3008 and in the trunk, make a strong shelf and a couple of angry 15" mid-bass and everything will be 🔥🔈🔥

The black car has the same registration plate as the green car - W807 KBF. ..... Something not quite right there ? .... The spare plate in the boot is #### ZFX.

@KillerkoUK

Yes we do, peugeotcitroendsparts.com sells genuine peugeot parts but they can be very expensive, in many cases it is a lot better economically to buy aftermarket parts instead if available.
