The musicianship of Hiatus Kaiyote as a band and with each and every member (and even at times the backup crew) is immense, even if it doesn't fit particular genre-purist tastes. There are points in time within this song where the band cohesion is in pristine chaos alignment. There are musicians around the world that are in awe of these fine young people, and it is due strictly to that very same pristine chaos in complete alignment!!! Those who really know the fight being fought to be here, are just thankful to witness it. Watching this for the second time in a long while, and I'm noticing that Nai's guitar is the most pronounced that I've heard in the mix here for Get Sun. It's barely audible on the recording, on Tiny Desk and when I saw them in Oakland last year.... overall brilliant performance. It was like they knew they were only doing a few songs, so they flushed out each one well. Kudos on whoever did sound, enriching the performance.

@@stanislasdarjeeling small market, the music business won't take a chance promoting a band which might actually make listeners think. Overseas with the bigger population you're more likely to get legitimately alternative music promoted. To be fair its not just just triple J/Kingsmill, its the whole label/festival/distribution/radio scene in Australia, its all wrapped up and very insular.
