515a, in Texas. This podcast video has been my Saturday morning security blanket, of sorts, for a long time. This time, I am sick, and can't sleep well, and was so glad to see this appear on my subscription feed. Watching it on my TV, now, and am already feeling better. I have watched your various projects for years and years, and look forward to years and years of more of the same. Thank you all for your hard work and time spent.

As a 59 year old who has been subbed to FFXI and then FFXIV for most of the last 18 years, you would be AMAZED at the number of age 40+ people playing these games. When the question/discussion regarding preferring single player or multi-player games came up, I immediately said to myself "Oh yeah.. I much prefer single player games.." thinking of my massive Steam library and the hours I put into emulators and playing old and older games. Then I did a bit of a double take and remembered FFXI and FFXIV. "Oh yeah.. there's those.."

I'm 56 and had a PET computer in 1979 and loved playing tank battle on it although it took the cassette tape 3 or 4 minutes to load the game. Gaming has bee around for a minute

@@peterstephen6596 Me and friends used to have Sinclair Spectrum and Commodore 64 nights at my house most weekends. Until I bought my 2nd and 3rd C64's and a couple of disk drives for them, the cassette loading times were the equivalent of our gaming 'adverts' whereby we went to the kitchen to top up on tea/coffee and snacks. Hell.. When we were loading Racing Destruction Set with it's '20 minutes worth of loading from tape to have ONE race' kind of thing, we would all retire to the kitchen and have a round robin of darts on my top of the range bristle dartboard in there.

Outlaws is such a fun game, it doesn’t feel as repetitive as most Ubisoft games do. I really enjoyed it and am definitely going to do another play through.

1:00:00 Everyone is familiar with Unreal's default assets, so devs would need to tweak parameters even further. Even write custom plugins and tools for Unreal for themselves.

The UE5 switch was leaked back when infinite was struggling with slipspace shortly after release. They have used unreal for gears games for years. This is not an indicator that playstation getting these games. Neither series is coming to playstation.

Remake the Halo trilogy in Unreal with the DMR, BR, and SMG in every game and then release it on every console. Thats what they need to do

That's what it seems like they're doing. It seems like, instead of making Halo CE look better, they're adding features to CE like using the energy sword (hopefully hijacking and dual wielding and other features/weapons too)

Can you guys please, even for a second, talk about earth defense force 6 and if time the whole series....no one ever seems to talk about it, it's such a great series, online/offline great value for single player and multiplayer

As far as Question 2 goes, I think the reality of voting with your wallet these days means sometimes you have to make tough choices even for games you do want to support. I was and still am interested in Outlaws but, the timing of it meant it either bought it or Astrobot, and in the end I choose Astrobot and will maybe give Outlaws a try later in the year.

Microsoft should get someone to make a Halo political thriller where you play as a Grunt trying to overthrow the covenant. Not played a Halo game since Reach. Still emotional about that ending.

If Halo ends up going to Playstation, I might just have to get me a ps5 and call it a day. For remakes, I don't mind of their different and not just new graphics. I like the idea of Halo studios releasing a remake of Halo and redoing the titles in Unreal to make sure they can work out any bugs and kinks for the next installment. But just remaking games, or doing multiple remakes, just because of the year feels like nothing but a cash grab

I don’t think the ps3 price was that bad… at the time it was the cheapest blu ray player, and that’s a huge reason why I bought it. It did more than play games.

I bought my dad a bond movie on blu ray, without realising it didn't work on the dvd player. He went out and bought a ps3 to watch it. Can't remember if I did that on purpose to get a ps3.

Seen footage of Halo using the Unreal engine (but from a few months ago). Looked more detailed, has better shadows/lighting...etc. But its kinda pointless unless you start making good Halo games again. Better stories, avoid endless pay to play content, focus on a single playercoop campaign more then MP...etc. If not, your just changing the visuals which doesn't work in a game like Halo.

ASHTON! (First, I hope you feel better) I dare you, I double dare you (or anyone at Team Triplejump) to review Lego Fortnite. I promise, once anyone starts unlocking Lego build kits by accomplishing quests, and adventuring through the different updates, it becomes very exciting. So much to do, so much to see, “so what’s wrong with taking the back streets!” or what’s wrong with playing the free corporate games?

I think they will. I think it will even out sell infinite. I think the game and series are fun but infinite had a terrible launch and people like to point out the bad over the good. I'll even bet that in 10 years people are going to be asking for an Infinite remake

As much as Sony-loving drones claim to hate Xbox, they sure do spend a lot of time hoping Xbox games make it to their stupid-looking plastic box. Just go PC and be done with it, console warriors.

I stopped buying inferior products , with no really good ips, after the 360. I had 3 of them... all got red ring..... won't buy Xbox ever again. No real awesome titles, crap controller designs, and crap consoles
