I think everyone expects people to always act the way that they "should." When you're famous, if you have a bad day, chances are it'll get recorded and put somewhere where people will tell you you're a piece of shit. So keep that in mind when giving famous people shit. A lot of it is deserved, but sometimes they're just having a bad day.

Some of it seems to be his current humor and if trying hard to be funny, who cares? What harm? He seems sincere for the most part, the other part is punk attitude with a mix of annoyance with the interviewer. Good on him as far as I'm concerned. My opinion at least. I certainly respect yours.
