In this video I show the advantage of Triple-D shooting heads and why they are so effective. Also check out one of my best casting tricks when using shooting heads. This is incredibly effective. Location: The Mighty Alta River in Norway.

I really enjoy your videos like this where you share how you cast, fish the pools and discuss the conditions and methods. Thanks!

Nice to hear the water, and to see someone, who actually holds the shooting line in loops, like the old guys taught us in their books.

You present always interesting stuff with your KZbin clips. First of all, thank you for that!! About the Tripple D shooting taper lines which I’m using intensely in 3 weight classes in many sink densities, in an average overall length of about 13 meters to my full satisfaction, I have a question in comparison with the 3D+ shooting taper lines. Beside that the 3D+ lines are on both ends factory looped, why are the 3D+ shooting taper lines about 1.5 to 2.0m shorter than the Tripple D Shootings taper lines, which I estimate in 13 m length ideally for my Spey casting in big rivers like Gaula, Spey, Lochy etc.Have the 3D+ lines a more aggressive taper or why are these lines so much shorter than the Tripple D lines? What is the difference between these two lines from the point of view of a professional Speycaster. Thank yo in advance for your appreciated answer by occasion.

sorry for the late reply! .. actually I am now mostly on Next cast Salmon finder 40 or zone... they are a bit more aggressive and suit my fishing a bit better.
