You are welcome here in the Philippines. It's rainy season now. Summertime is the best time to visit so that you can explore the beautiful beaches.

You can go to a few locations from the north in Luzon, central Visayas- like Cebu or Tagbilaran in Bohol or Dumaguete and southern Mindanao- like Davao for 3 weeks. Yet you can come back to the Philippines, if you don't want to rush. Hahaha where to start answering this question? It depends how quickly you want to travel, how long you want to spend time in these places, your budget for transport and accommodation. Consider what you really want to do and see, so you can prioritise where to go Tripp. Think about whether you wish to venture to scenic destinations or love swimming and would prefer to go to beaches, then get a bus to e.g. Batangas. Or do you want to see more architectures and museums then do a diy or guided walking or bike tour around Intramuros in Manila. However, you can still do a bit of everything anywhere. You can mix it up using public transport. Planes are normally faster and sometimes handy to cross certain destinations, like to Busuanga, El Nido and Puerto Princessa in Palawan. You can also go on ferries and boats across islands. The line of people, security checks, paying tax and weather conditions etc may delay your travels. For a more private trip or you can also share the ride to divide the cost, hire cars or vans with drivers. If you've got extra money, you can even arrange and book in advance a package travel with accommodations and transports. If you do your research you can find reliable contacts by yourself if you're a savvy traveller, or with the help of an experienced traveller and agents and staff in your accommodation that you'll book in. At the very least, arrange transport from your arrival destination at the airport, bus station or boat terminal to your accomodation. This will save you some time and hassle when you get there. Keep a close eye of your belongings, be wary that if some other person or driver other than your designated driver starts taking your luggage, they may insist on asking for payment. Realistically, probably easier for your first time travelling to the Philippines to venture into more well known and easily accessible destinations in Luzon by public transport e.g. buses for long distance travels, such as Baguio and Tagaytay where it would be cooler in temperature and a good way to slowly adjust to the tropical heat. Get on jeepneys or call a Grab in advance (could be a long wait during rush hours), the equivalent of Ubers instead of taxis and tricycles for shorter distances. Travelling around in heavy traffic in Manila can eat up your time and also Manila itself is a large area to explore. Bon voyage and good luck Trip!
