PLEASE READ: Like everyone else, we are very concered about the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We have suspended all travels until at least late-April. However, we have decided to continue to publish videos as usual because luckily, within the past twelve months, we were able to record a lot more videos than we were able to publish. This means we will publish some older Tripreports we weren't yet able to cut and upload. And we have enough of them to continue to publish three Tripreports per week for the foreseeable future! I fly with em every year and from my opinion it is worth to pay a little bit more fore a better airline, because every time it is a problem (big or small). I have taken maybe 20 times the 737-800 from Norwegian and I can say that it's sad that they are so bad because they have brand new planes...

What a fab trip report. If you are wondering about why Norwegian serves on cardboard and not on a tray, is simply because everything can be recycled (mainly in Europe’s this applies too). In America all trash that comes off the plane and will be burned and destroyed. This keeps their costs down and helps the companies promise to remain eco-friendly and sustainable :)

I really like the paintjobs on Norwegian airlines. They're very distinct and easily recognizable. Many of the planes have pictures of various historical characters on the tail as well.

The only long haul Norwegian airline (SAS only had a long haul route from Oslo to EWR like 5-10 years and then 1 route to Miami in September that they started so not real norwegian long haul airline) So right of the norwegian government to give Norwegian some cash! Love from Norway!

I flew Norwegian in 2018 SEA-LGW return. They were fine. Like you, I prepaid the meal & seat assignment and I also bought a priority boarding upgrade. My only complaint is that both flights were delayed. The outbound flight was delayed by 90 minutes (and they didn't tell us why) and the return by 60 minutes (waiting for passengers from a connecting flight that was delayed due to landing gear malfunction). I'm saddened they no longer have long-haul U.S. routes.

If anyone’s wondering why there’s a weird setup in the front most cabin on this 787-9 is because only the norwegian uk Dreamliners get full premium cabin as they sell more premium seats in the uk market, in Europe they don’t so hence why the premium cabin is split half half and it results in the premium cabin having same amount of seats as the 787-8

I went to europe thanks to Norwegian, from Florida to Paris and from Spain to Florida, paid 325$, I ordered a soda both ways so 6$ I packed a sandwich and that was it, also, very comfy seats and decent space, loved the tinted windows AND I picked up on some movies I wanted to see for FREE!! 10/10 cant beat that quality/price.

Very interesting review as always. Honestly I doubt that LCC long haul businness model is going to be so successful, at least in Europe even because many major AL introduced competitive rates/services and LCC can't take a large advantge by intensive aircrafts rotation. Thank you for sharing

It's quite interesting that there is an AVOD in the LCC. Besides there is no AVOD in Scoot's 787and Jinair's 777.

When you’re lucky enough to get cheap tickets. But if you buy an expensive one (because no more cheap left), than the service is still the same shit, especially if there is a problem, like cancelling, delays etc. Norwegian shouldn’t have started this longhaul thing, they should’ve let it to the big boys, LH, AF, SAS, a lowcost is just not good enough to do overseas service properly and handle the customers like the normal ones!

Norwegian’s 787 service is great for what it is. Very well priced when compared to legacy carries. Where i think they shine though is their Premium Economy product. Once again it’s very well priced for what you get. The seats are big and comfortable with a ton of pitch. They don’t lie flat but they certainly recline enough to sleep in. They include lounge access and other perks like 2 checked bags. Used to include free alcoholic drinks whenever you wanted but no more while the belt tightening. Overall they give you alot more than other “Premium Economy” products which are other no more than standard economy seats with more leg room and perks like bags & meals included. Norwegian gives you many business class perks but at half the cost (and no pod/lie flat seat). Overall it’s often a great deal. The only one which may rival it in the coming years would be JetBlue’s Mint product once they offer trans atlantic routes. All that being said, when flying you have to remember its with a relatively small LCC. So boarding/deplaning onto buses is more common. Also delays or cancellations due to mechanical issues and a lack of other aircraft to swap out with. All that said, i have flown them many times and have only ever had a handful of problems which i have also experienced plenty of other times of larger fleet airlines. Hope they make it, they changed the game and i’d hate for prices to go back to what they were before Norwegian.

Flew Norwegian 2 years ago to Norway. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 4.5. Wasn’t too impressed with their service. Probably won’t ever fly again with them if I go back to Norway.

Hey Felix...could not agree more re CDG....some one planned with only one thing in mind...to make it very unfriendly to the people who have to use it !! A most excellent price to the USA from France...cheap as chips as we would say in Australia !! When heading to the gate in the terminal you are actually going under the taxi way.....weird !! Is this a 5th freedom flight by Norwegian as it does not leave from Oslo ?? Pretty good flight mate especially for the price. Have seen and read some good reviews with this airline. Looking forward to whatever you CAN post in the coming months...terrible times around the world so stay safe and stay well !!

In my opinion Simply Aviation has the best flight reviews. I have seen others that have taken Norwegian and said they didn’t enjoy them. Noel from inflight review, (not sure if that’s the right name) did one about Norwegian’s premium economic class. And his video wasn’t good. So this is my message to anyone that flies Norwegian. Don’t have too high expectations. There’s a reason why they’re a low cost carrier. Also I’m sure Norwegian will survive.

Flown from CDG T1 before. The building isn’t just weird, it’s embarrassing. You literally need to go in circles everywhere and you can’t even tell how many circles you’ve completed which is frustrating to think about when you’re exhausted. It’s like a designer from the 70s was trying to design a futuristic building in a mediocre way

Take your own food along. Also take some small liquor bottles that cost $1 at liquor stores though you have to be sneaky drinking them. Fill up an empty plastic water bottle at the airport to avoid paying the airline $4 for this
