Wow, I didn't realise Coanda was Romanian! The Coanda effect is probably the most important discovery in aviation, that's where higher speed airflow over the top of a curved surface, relative to the underside, creates lift. How wings work basically.

Good evening, I write because 25 years ago I took there. 12: 35 plane flight number is 403. I know for sure of this information, because I found old Tarom boarding passes. Tarom is a lot cheaper to fly with than BA from Heathrow to Bucharest, and the service is better.

In terms of value Tarom is the best with a checked bag and food included, especially if you compared it to overrated short haul Lufthansa. If you want cheap and only care about the price fly Wizz or Ryan Air.

BA is cheaper than tarom and tarom services are mediocre. I know for a fact, majority of employees are employed by political connections and there jobs are secured till death.

Gonna post my soon, this one looks fine, I flew their 737-700 and title will be back in time with Tarom, only thing that was missing was smoking, interior looked like from 80s max early 90s and was brough by bus from 70s.

unfortunately most of the toilets in Henri Coanda airport are not very clean and not fully functional (some of the toilets or sinks are dirty or broken)...us romanians we still need many years to civilize from this point of view.

I gotta say, I love Bucharest Airport. It's big enough to have all the things one needs, but also small enough that you don't get lost in it. :) I've flown there quite a few times, but lately, I've been opting for CLJ (Cluj-Napoca) since it's closer to where I normally go to when visiting Romania. Nice reports, this and the OTP-MAD on Tarom 737

Even if the flight was a short, "ordinary" one, it was fun to see. I've read good things about Tarom on Internet websites (especially about their still serving hot meals in economy), so it was wonderful to be able to see a trip on Tarom from the beginning (Bucharest airport), through the flight itself (including the meal!), to disembarking in Vienna. I knew Spanish when I went on an exchange trip to Romania and it didn't help me at all...I didn't notice many similarities between the two other than they are Romance languages. It's definitely close to classical latin.

around spring 2016 I also flew with TAROM to Vienna and if I remember correctly, it was with an a318. Sadly, it was one of my saddest events in my life due moving from Romania to Austria at 7 years old leaving all my friends behind

Who's here from 2020? Flying with Tarom the same route in March.. However, they're flying with 737-700. A318 is not that common.

Aegean does it too, I just can`t stand this Headlines FREE! nothing is free its normal to get catering on flights I grew up with this we had hot meals on German Domestic Flight in the past .its all a con to reduce service legacy carriers should always have free baggage allowance + catering Tarom is not rubbish Ryanair or Wizz its a Legacy carrier .so don`t highlight it instead if you are serious you should make videos about how it should be done !

Why take the time to video your subject if you are going to fast forward through it? It seems if you want to fast forward, then why even tape the subjects! For me, it was not enjoyable but thanks for your efforts.

Well, there's always the option of slowing it down when showing the subjects, but only after making the video we see if the video in total is too long of too short. In this case it was too long so we shortened it but didn't want so many cuts so we put some fast forward scenes in. Just for further reference, did you not like the subjects during the fast forward scenes or did you dislike the fast forward scenes in general? Are there any other things you disliked about the tripreport? Thanks a lot for your feedback!

All A318s such as Airliners use them as "Encomy ShortRange Aircraft" there is No first class or business class.... so there need for "(Encomy)"....

Interesting trivia: Romanian language is the only romance/latin one in this half of Europe, because latin is based on old Romanian/Dacian language. That's why it's very easy for us to understand Italian or Spanish, but much more difficult the other way around.

Tarom had only one accident so you are in safe hands.They used to serve even better meals in the past:chicken with sauce and stir-up veggies plus tea,butter,jam. Food was really delicious compared to the other airlines that only served a sandwich.
