Fun fact: LN--WEX is "borrowed" from Embraer, as WEX is originally destined for Fuzhou Airlines in China. They havent recieved the jet yet, as the E290 isnt approved in China. I believe WIF is borrowing it till Nov. 2019. :)

Both Noel Philips and Nonstop Dan didn’t like Widerøe’s new E2 plane because they weren’t comfortable. Heck Dan even said he wished airlines would go for the A220. This is why Simply Aviation is my favorite trip reports channel. Fair and honest reviews.

I did a tour with this plane between Bergen and Bodø quiet early when they got it and most people say that the legroom ist worse than any other airline. A beautyful plane, but to many seats put into it. But Widerøe is a beautiful airline otherwise. Friendly staff and I also like the Dash 8 planes. :-)

Munich is not one of the best airports in the world because of Terminal 1. Terminal 2, from which Lufthansa and the Star Alliance operate, is significantly better and truly one of the best terminals in the world.

Benjamin W OSL is the main airport for 2 good reasons, 1. because it’s the biggest airport in Norway, and 2. Oslo is the biggest city in Norway

@@PenaldoTheAndorraman Berlin is the capital of and biggest city in Germany, but Frankfurt and Münich are the main airports. OSL is not the main airport because it's the biggest: They chose it as the main airport and consequently made it the biggest, which in my opinion was a poor choice.

Felix, you’re absolutely right. Munich airport seemed just average. But you’ve been into the older terminal. (T1) There is another terminal where all Lufthansa/*A except TK flights depart. It’s 11 years later built (in 2003) and much more modern and efficient. You can see it in my latest two trip reports. Would be happy if you could check them out. Hope that helps... Best regards ☺️👍🏻

Yeah lots of Norwegians are very fluent in English, we start learning it at the latest in the 2nd grade, some as early as in Kindergarden. Up untill atleast Year 10, most do Y11 to which has mandatory english in most cases!

Don't know about T1 at MUC, but T2 including the Satellite terminal is amazing. So modern, spacious and clean. I would much rather have a transfer in Munich than in Frankfurt...

Excellent trip report as usual!! I'm not impressed with the standard of Wideroe I have go say, only tea, coffee or water on a 2 hour flight for a regional full fare airline is pretty dismal.. Brand new aircraft, lovely interior, legroom pretty poor.When travelling to Norway all legacy carriers offer better service than Wideroe

People are rating Munich airport Top 10 because of the Terminal 2 and the LH-Terminal, which are way bigger than T1,where you departed from. It is indeed quite good but in my opinion not top 10 worthy as well

Excellent video..It's one of the trips i've been meaning to take..It's a shame Wideore isn't expanding more its international flights with their new E2-190s..They could do FRA,ZRH,BUD,FCO,ORY,MAD,BCN,ATH etc, seasonally and..not..Now you need to fly with Helvetic's new E2-190 and compare the difference since Wideroe has max pax config. :)

I wonder if you know anything about the red elements in the cabin, like the linings on the seats and the galley curtains. I flew two times on LN-WEB and I cannot remember seing any of those there. I know im not Simply Aviation but I think the red seats are because this is a leased aircraft. The other three Winderoe E290s which are owned by the company have grey seats 👍

I'm going to Bodo in Norway very soon, and my flights with Wideroe were originally on their Dash Q-800's but have now both been switched to the E-190. This video really helped me see how the flight will be, thanks! ^^

The one time I flew through Munich (MUC) my thoughts are yes it is, in fact, one of the best airports in the world. It's galaxies ahead of Berlin (TXL), but then again Tegel is quite old. - Red

T1 is terrible, dated, cramped and boring, MUC's rep is entire centred around T2 which is incredible, they really need to bring T1 up to the level of T2 to make MUC and consistent product.

In my opinion MUC is one of the nest airports, but sadly Wideroe opetares from old Terminal 1 which is horrible. Terminal 2 at Munich is the reason why its rated as one of the best airports.

Another night flight. . . . I realize that cost and scheduling issues affect which flights you book, but night flights really suck for people like me. I live in Hawai'i, a place where many would love to visit. But I have not been able to return to Europe for over 50 years for a variety of reasons. Seeing daylight views of landscape is what I look for. By the way, I enjoyed your Micronesia "Island Hopper" video. I don't sit on the ground. I've flown that route 35 - 40 times.

If you want to fly with a small but special airline, then I would suggest Alsie Express from CPH to SGD. A 35 min domestic flight in DK with a very high service standard! :) My favorite airline of all!

Good video. Just a thought about Munich airport. One of the most commonly asked question in any airport is, "Where is the toilet?' I am just guessing, but perhaps Munich has many and conveniently placed. I am at YVR Vancouver and this airport has very conveniently placed what we call restrooms. Love your channel.
