This album is another deserted island record. Mos Def can rap like hell, and he can actually sing, without the crappy autotune. Mos Def's voice is one of my favorites - I could be entertained by listening to him read the dictionary - but Talib really gets it done lyrically. This is a good one, but I personally think that Respiration is a strong candidate for the best hip hop song of all time.
