Tripura is a state in northeastern India. Tripura is the third-
the smallest state in the country, Capital of Tripura is Agartala, Total
Area of Tripura State - 10, 491 sq.km. The total population of Tripura
State 2020 - 45 lakhs, The agriculture sector engages roughly two-
thirds of Tripura’s workforce and accounts for nearly half the state’s
gross product. Agartala, the capital of Tripura, is the most populous
city, Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, located 12 km northwest of Agartala
at Singerbhil, is the second busiest airport in northeast India after
Guwahati. Only one major road, the National Highway 8 (NH-8), connects
Tripura to the rest of India. As of November 2019, Tripura had a total
installed power generation capacity of 756.46 megawatts (MW), Tripura
has one Central University (Tripura University), one State University
(M. B. B. University) and one private university, Tripura state has
been divided into 8 districts, The Ujjayanta Palace is a museum and
the former palace of the Kingdom of Tripura situated in Agartala,
Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Tripura,
India of some 18.53 square kilometres, The main folk dances of Tripura
are - Hozagiri dance of Reang community, Garia, Jhum, Maimita, Masak
Sumani and Lebang boomani dances of Tripuri community, Gdp of Tripura
- 0.4 lakh crore, Agartala is the second-largest city in northeast
India after Guwahati
