When I lived there they were still building the bridge lol (I was there for 6 years). I want to go back to see it. I miss Oki so much.

I grew up in Okinawa in the 70s. It was dirty, but I didn't mind. He made it seem much more interesting.

I could fall in love with this place. Watching "Karate Kid 2"; had to pause the movie to see real Okinawa. Wasn't disappointed. Now, back to the movie. (29 Minutes and 56 seconds in). 35:19 Karate KId 2 has got me in tears. Amazing movie. Amazing writing; amazing directing; amazing acting; amazing editing; amazing casting.

My trip was amazing, I loved very much the Ishigaki beach, it's a very good place to dive. I loved too the Shuri Castle that unfortunately caught fire. Sorry for my english, I can't speak and write it very well. Thanks 4 asking.

I was stationed at Camp Foster Aug 74-Sep75. Looks like some great changes, but the beaches and terrain look the same. BEAUTIFUL, Thank You Okinawans.

I was stationed at Camp Foster Aug 74-Sep75, boy a lot has changed; but somethings haven't. The people of Okinawa were wonderful. Love to return. Thank You again people of Okinawa.

Right, hard to believe almost 75 yrs ago, the US and Japan were killing each other on Okinawa. BUT today Japan is one of the United States closes Allies.

When I was in Okinawa, I was a stupid kid. If I could go back knowing what I know now. I would do it so differently. I was in Okinawa as a young stupid Marine. We drank and partied the whole time. If I could go back in time to my own body at that time knowing what I know now. I would experience and explore every thing.
