I watched every brush stroke you made and I still can't get it. Your level of artistry is unmatched. I mean, who the hell thinks of putting yellow, green, lime green, brown, blue, light blue, and purple on a helmet?????

Thank you very much. The process is pretty intuitive. When I am not filming or taking pictures for tutorial, my painting process is even more free. I start with some ideas and many times I would let the process guide me. But with lessons and tutorials, we aim to bring out the understanding and creativity in others. We want them to learn trough experiments and progress, and to understand how to use color and brushstrokes for their miniature pieces. :)

I have loved your approach ever since I started learning from your Patreon. I got so bored and burned out with mini painting, as I felt like I was approaching it as a 3D coloring book. I went on to study traditional art/painting for a few years. Now I am applying that knowledge and using some of your ideas in my figure painting. I can tell you are both traditionally trained artists. It is rare to find that! Thanks for sharing this.

Phenomenal! I adore your style, though it's also very intimidating to try, if I'm honest.

Thank you very much. You can try when you feel comfortable. When you feel inspired. And we have no doubt you can get some quality insight, learning through process, and some new ideas with your first try. 😉

Looks great! The way you used the brush to create textures with different strokes (and not a perfect tip) was really nice to watch! Almost like an oil painting. Did you do any glazing to help blends and smoothness, or was in done only during the wet blending and layering? Thanks!
@CraftworldStudio7 ай бұрын
Thank you. Yes, it is all done with brushstrokes. Glazes would change the tonalities and destroy the contrast in this case. With so many colors working together, wet blending and overlapping layers help them blend into cohesion while keeping as many tones and tonal variations visible in some of the shades and highlights. :)

I love your work so much! You inspire me to want to do the same, but it looks insanely difficult 🥲.

It makes perfect sense as he's doing it, but when I try, it comes out the opposite.
@CraftworldStudio7 ай бұрын
Thank you. :) Sometimes, it only looks difficult. Sometimes, it looks too easy, but then it gets difficult when you try to replicate. It is all a process of trying, understanding, making steps, steps forward, or steps back. It is all a process. Every painting session brings something. First, it brings xp just for trying, then it brings new insights, ideas, understanding, and difficulties as well. One thing is for sure, it all leads forward in your painting journey. :)
