Excellent playthrough! Wow, a straight tie? I have never seen that before in this game. Overall, very well played and two impressive scores.

Excellent playthrough, and as already remarked, very good scores. My highest is 180 (came second winner of our 4p got 186). You clearly explain how the free actions all work. When we play 4p (3 hours) we have a "yes I have finished my turn marker" otherwise there is the temptation for the next player to start their turn while you are still doing the fourth of your five free actions before even considering a main action.

That sounds like a good idea with the "done" marker.

I don’t think I could have grasped this game very well without your play through, and it’s one of my favorites of yours to keep re-watching! Also, at 45:00 and 45:10 it looks like you put 2 of the same segments together, so it repeats, but it’s not terribly important. Right afterward at 45:24 you call a “raw tin” a “raw silver,” and again at 1:04:06

At 56:23, I believe that artifact should have been flipped as you activated it to take the refined copper. Many thanks again for such a great tutorial. Edit - you corrected it at 58:52!

Oh wow, I honestly thought you were dominating the game with the way you were getting formulas out left and right along with the experiments and publications then I saw the counting the final score and it looked like you were gonna lose. But man, I never ever thought the game would have ended in a straight up draw like that. XD Just the fact you managed to tie on the literal tiebreaker is something else altogether. Anyway, awesome video as always. This was a blast to watch.

I thought "we" were dominating as well, it was an interesting end to the game for sure! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Wow nice job Jon! This seems so heavy! I was planning to do a playthrough myself but now Im scared haha

This one certainly pushed my AP buttons while filming. The raw footage came in at almost 10 hours which is a few more than the normal 3p game. Was a fun challenge, but certainly had my brain spinning to play well on camera.

1:04:44 I think you missed using an essence for the transmutation. I think no matter which one you used, you would’ve gotten an extra point out of it, so it might have give “you” the win. Either way, I loved this playthrough. As always, amazing job. Also, love to see two player only games that are not battle/beat-em-ups. Thanks for your hard work.

Yep, it looks like you are right! That would have given us the win, too bad I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out, I've added a note to the Klingon subtitles. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Are you going to give your opinion on the game on one of you impresions video? Or not because it was sponsored? I absolutely love the game and don't think it is as hard as people are saying but it is not a medium weight game either.

Between 25:25 and 25:30, red's 2 RAW mercury magically transformed into 2 REFINED mercury! How did that happen? Did I miss something?
@JonGetsGames

Huh, I have no idea what happened there! I'll add a note about it, thanks.

1:16:49 it seems the artifact gives a raw tin instead of refined tin, which could chain react for the later steps...
@JonGetsGames
@JonGetsGames 4 жыл бұрын
If you look closer you'll see that the tin has a square around it instead of a circle. Honestly I thought the same thing as you when editing but looked closer to see the square. I guess my lighting wasn't quite good enough here to make that square obvious, sorry about that.

It must be related to how the brain interprets what we see. Each time I have played we have commented that the pale blue square looks like a circle.

This game seems pretty convoluted. Did you find it to be even a little so?
@JonGetsGames
@JonGetsGames 4 жыл бұрын
The game is certainly heavy, but compared to other euro games that take 2+ hours it didn't seem especially convoluted to me.
