I always hated how jealous angry at Rory Dean got. Like it was HER fault some guy is chasing her. I had a bf like that. He got angry at me when someone looked at me on the street. I know I dodged the bullet with that one

I would get mad if my boyfriend kissed someone. And he didnt get that mad it was nice he didnt get cross with rory but only with tristen for messing with her.

@@citydweller99She would’ve had “it” had she been determined. Do you know how many mega stars were told by others that they didn’t have it? They continued to work hard and they ended up making it and made those who doubted them eat their words. It’s all about your mindset, confidence, and dedication. Had Rory had that, she’d have it but unfortunately she’s been praised her entire life and was never taught what to do when actually criticized for once.

@@rayeeiffel480I don't think the reason she's being praised all the time was the problem. I think it was just the reality of someone who just hit their 20s. Before Rory and Mitchum "tragedy", Rory also has a few problems (Failed class, wrong relationship, heavy responsibility to keep the name of Gilmore) that eventually build up to the point of her being so vulnerable, and just.. see no point of her dreams, that's definitely okay, it's okay to feel that way, we were 20s once, that's the harsh reality. I was in uni once and just a one simple sentence when you think you had shit figured out just at the lowest point in your life, that could destroy and ruin someone dreams so easily til you have no point to continue. Idk, just my perspective because everyone blames Rory for being so easily giving up, while it may be easy for them, it might not be easy for others.

No I think jess would still be in the show it's just tristan was supposed to have logan's storyline and since he left the actor Logan became the character that tristan was supposed to be but I think she was gonna have 3 love interests anyways

How amazingly different it could have been if Tristian (chad) stayed on here or even left for awhile and they ran into each ither again at Yale..and maybe they could’ve ended up together. People (and I used to want Jess and Rory) need to see that Rory changed a lot and the way she thinks about people and the way started to carry herself matches that of someone like Logan..but Tristian would’ve been better because he also knows her from high school and how much she also lives to study and have give aspirations in life. I mean he was changing in the end. To bad we didn’t get to see it.

this isn't a "love story". I'm glad the writer's didn't take it in that direction. A guy constantly forcing affection on a girl who has said she isn't interested multiple times isn't love, it's harassment. I wanted to punch the guy whenever he spoke to Rory. If he was meant to be the original Logan it would've given the show a really bad message. And no, their kiss at the party did not mean she liked him, she was upset and vulnerable like Lorelai was with Chris after Luke.
