Yes and no her first album which was pop but with darker elements you can hear the tone more this new one which was a little more fun and disco you can hear the bass but I do agree some of the soul didn’t filter through the sound so as a casual listener it makes sense he wouldn’t know lol But her voice is very versatile and I think her tone even when she sings pop songs just cause she does sit lower it’s part of her charm
