I love that she is so open about her vocal journey I feel like some artists don’t want to highlight all the work they put into singing because they just want to appear like they are natural born talents with no issues (that’s the vibes I get from some people at least) but with Miley it’s proving that yes you can be a natural born talent (which she is) but you can always work to be better and there is no shame in that in fact it seems like she takes great pride in improving and shared it with everyone

the fact that her vocal coach was hyping her up and singing along, telling her to let loose and "let those wings out" was such a huge thing--especially when you had spoken on miley's vocal damage in the past. she's done so much work to make her voice BETTER and it's so nice to see people around her telling her she has the capacity to just spread her wings and fly.

I always wanted to be a singer / songwriter, performer my whole life. I’ve been running and singing since I was 12! I used to run on the treadmill daily and sing, also run stairs and sing, and I’m still running and singing, but now I also dance and have a blast! Always outside. People may think I’m crazy- but one day someone saw me and asked if I was the one who sings and runs, I said yeah all embarrassed. She then told me I sounded really good and how she enjoys it! Made me smile. :) although I’m not a known performer- I perform daily during my run and I’m definitely not afraid to show it and have fun! You can always do the things you love, never be afraid to show the world in any way you can. :)

The “downward punch” is definitely a “PULL FROM DIAPHRAGM” technique. It’s a commonly taught technique for newer singers and singers trying to learn to pull more from the diaphragm for the deepest parts of those big notes Edit to add: I believe that vocal coach-heard in the background-is very competent, not only in vocal technique and protecting the voice but ALSO in encouraging while being “briefly involved” so as to let the (obviously advanced and talented) singer do her thing… acknowledging her level
