I did something simillar when I _distracted_ from fabric modding. The precisest "biggest" number is stored in double's class MAX_VALUE constant, so the real-est top is whatever the [Double.MAX_VALUE] expression output, but you got quite close to it I suppose. Also, try doing all of that but next to the world border while wearing a night vision potion. Just for the record, 2^1024 is the number limit that was set for modern computers; a limit had to be set to separate a real value from what is effectively infinity. I think it's safe to say that number is a pretty good one.
@tristantheoofer28 ай бұрын
it is bc of how doubles work. and yea its unbelievably high. hell even 340 undecillion (float limit) is high as fuck and already contains literal billions of universes by itself
@IDGCaptainRussia8 ай бұрын
@@tristantheoofer2 It's not so much that we "need" numbers that large, but we need numbers as large as Doubles with higher precision and less floating point loss. (precision loss happens because there's only 32 bits in a floating point value, and having a higher number means there's less bits for the fractional part) For gaming, this is entirely people stress testing the limits of the game and 100% overkill. Numbers this huge, or atleast numbers above 2.14 billion with good precision floating points are important for scientific and industrial uses, and of course, computing in general. In short, yeah the limit of a 1024 bit number was set simply because, going any higher would be a waste of bits and highly redundant.

A bit of a suggestion when you're doing voice editing; It's fine to go back and redo a line, in case you trip over it. Keeping a consistent, flawless voice over will improve the content. What I usually do, is write down what I want to say aloud, and then follow it while recording. It makes it easier not to trip over words. Also, please try to cut out inhales and longer than average gaps in between sentences/words. The breathing sounds can be pretty distracting. Some extra time on the audio can make the listening experience so much better, and as a result, a much higher quality production.
@tristantheoofer211 ай бұрын
honestly thank you for this my dude! i was wondering how people actually got their breathing out of the audio lol. and keeping a flawless voice is fairly hard but i will def try
@SkollTheWerewolf11 ай бұрын
@@tristantheoofer2 You can generally zoom into the timeline in whichever editing software you're using, and look for where the audio timeline drops to almost a solid line, but with a very, very small bump in audio. You'll generally have to zoom into that audio track vertically, to make the wave lengths more visible, but it makes it easier to see. I hope it helps :D

Hey Jay, I doubt you're gonna see this but you should do more of this content. In Poland we had a youtuber who used to make videos like this almost a decade ago. And it wouldn't be a big deal if not the fact that things looked different back then. For example, version 1.6.1 had an actual fucking structure under bedrock (very few people know about this since it got removed a while later in 1.6.2). We also had like 4 different world borders and most people only know about the current one and the farlands while nobody remembers the 1.7 - beta 1.7.3 one. Hope that inspired you enough to do some research and maybe even talk about this in some video. Btw you're the most deserved youtuber on my subs list even though I just saw your channel.

Now THIS guy really finds the limits. When i watched videos about how deep u can go into the minecraft void, or into the sky, i always felt unsatisfied, like, no way its just stops you from getting any deeper at some point. I felt that there would be a way to get deeper, because it was just a limit inside of the game code, that you can make bigger, or just how you did, set it to false so there would be no limit, and here we are, finally getting to the real limits (A number so big, that it fucking rounds to INFINITY).

Hell, maybe even the distance between The Milky Way and Andromeda. Anything but the size of the FUCKING OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE. As someone who’s aware of just how horrifyingly huge ONE observable universe is, that made my brain shut down for a couple of seconds. The fact that a computer was able to comprehend that distance, even for a single millisecond, is pretty incredible.
@MarcusInVR9 ай бұрын
This would mean, in theory, that the Sun and the Moon in Minecraft are entities not only larger than our observable universe, but also unfathomably further away from the world, to appear like this in the sky. In addition, the Sun and Moon moving at these velocities breaks our law of physics - but Minecraft operates differently. Maybe the Sun and Moon are different universes all together, revolving around the infinite purgatory of a Minecraft world.
