So, the other night I was bored so I decided to go for a ride, just to relax and listen to music.I was driving near the forest when all of a sudden I see this lovely wench just standing there.I shat myself, got out and tried to get to her to see what she was doing running round the forest at that time. Bitch ran off so I followed her.I ended up in this graveyard with her and a few of her goth friends having a few drinks.I woke up the next morning with a real hang-over on some steps. It was nice.

Well, that was the genre these bands were playing in before the term "gothic-rock" was invented to degrade them. The term was worn by the rising subculture with pride. So, technically, all Goth bands/Cult bands are taken from post-punk/alternative. Particularly this band considering their similarities with Siouxsie and the Banshees.
