Paganism never was about self-development. It was about worshipping different gods that each one represents his or her own thing (powers of nature, qualities, social phenomena like war, etc.). Worshipping in order to obtain some benefit for yourself. Give and take. So be Satanic pagan is like to be buddhist and worship Zeus at the same time.
